true enough....i agree customers need a variety of plans from which they can choose from...infact, nearly half of us might fall in to the low_usage catogary i hope reliance too knows this...
-

that sounds pretty cost_effective... like, does airtel claim any 'official' d/l speeds? ...and whats this 150/month plan? i've heard about the 600/month unlimited plan...this one sounds new
-
Oh.. now, THAT'S news...

check this out...1gb data transfer in two DAYS flat !! im not sayin everybody uses this much...jus how much we CAN... its been a marathon session...2 days and still going found some good torrents after 24 hrs the "duration" in the dialer window starts from 0 again...so its actually 48 hrs 14 mins what im wonderin is does RIL mean both upload AND download when they say "data transfer" ?...if BOTH are to be counted, the data transfer is nearly 2GB in two DAYS !!! that means the 1 gb mark can be crossed in ONE DAY !! !! bottomline is ...the 1 gb d/l limit is so very low...dont fall for it.
-
i think what orhb means is - the airtel gprs speed is 10 to 11 k BITS per sec...[as opposed to 115kbps thro rconnect...]
-
Puneet check out this recent thread on the "platinum plan"... doesnt look too good...looks like we got a catch there...and it seems to go by the name "credit limit"... ========================================================= besides, like mohan said i think its pretty handy as a use_it_on_the_day_u_like kinda recharge...its simple enough right - wont u spend Rs.50 to be able to stay online for a whole friggin day? (forget about multiplying by 30)
-
...hmm, i would have to dump my pre-paid 2030 for that.
-
sure...its 1650/month...and i still think its worth it. remember u dont have any d/l limits...1650 might sound a lot, but its actually not if we remember we're talkin 24x7 here... it still works out cheaper, if u happen to d/l a lot... approx, i've been d/l 300mb/day (thats quite conservative !)...thats ~ 9gb/month...and for THAT KINDA VOLUME, i would be payin Rs.12,000+ if im using any of the plans with 1 gb d/l cap... ======================================================== edited: dont be so sure dude...i have been usin my lg2030 ONLY to rconnect.... eversince i became a reliance customer....right from my post-paid days...and d/ling 24x7 is not so uncommon.
-
rahul, thats what i said too- Rs.Two per hour !! yes, ashok its like this - u can stay online for ~24 hrs with a Rs.55 top-up card...and this works out to Rs.2.30 per hour (provided ur usin it for 24) not bad...eh? cheers
-
wow.... so much for the 1gb... well, we atleast we know our usage patterns now...and pick a plan that would be aprop...
-
Uh...Oh....
-
thats NOT so...
