phew... zipped way over my head.... i'll leave it to u guys...ppl who know.... i have a related question - u know the automatic 'windows update' feature right? is there any way to get more control over it? i know i can turn it off..thats not what i mean - how cum we can never pause it cancel it or anything? shucks, we cant even know whats being downloaded !! whats the word? do we have any tweaks to hmm, gain more control ?
  6. Sequential Stills

ooops... edited: ....that was for the deleted link :'( ... greens, im not sure about ur exact model, but if it displays any kinda animated pictures and stuff, it probably will handle the gifs u animate with easy-gif-animator...provided it has options for the pc-to-cell transfer...
  7. Sequential Stills

try "Easy GIF animator" tanveer...works like a charm.. i've got a buncha home_animated clips on my cellphone now... u can animate sequential gif pictures into a mini-movie-clip kinda thing and export as avi and other formats for the actual "caps" (sequential images) try LINK REMOVED....some pretty interesting scenes in there cheers
  8. Increase Your Bandwidth By 20%

hmmm.... i have no idea what this all means....defenitly not a "common sense" question to me anyways...im sorry if this happens to be some outdated/useless tweak... well, i guess thats the advtage of postin a quote !! ... if there is sometin wrong with the content, then - "hey, im not sayin it, jus quotin" !! anyways, jus for the record, its not from some third_rate_website_tweak_ur_pc stuff...it was posted on the Xboard forums...its a pretty decent(!) warez bulletin board with some 14,000+ members...posted by this dude called InFiNiT~~iNfErNo...and he happens to be an admin also... so i would rather gladly recomend u to ask common-sense questions to tehse kinda dudez...dudez who know the answers cheers
  9. Negative Balance

    donno buddy...thats what i've been tryin...nobody seems to confirm...either way !
  10. Negative Balance

guess people could have better used this piece of info on how_to_beat neg balance a while ago - B4 MOVIN TO GSK....
  11. Negative Balance

what the **** ?? not a single reply in 4 days !!! and i thot this "negative balance" was such a big issue !!, from all the noise being made...oh, well. whatEVER Guys....
  12. Negative Balance

Possible way to beat the "negative balance" hi...there might be a way to avoid the "negative balance" issue...why im sayin this is -i have been using the free-net for a while and i NEVER had this problem of negative balance...not even once...i had mentioned this b4, tryin to figure out why... it just dawned on me today - this could be the reason - everytime i recharge, i use *369 FIRST and then 2 to enter the scratched number(NOT *367 STRAIGHTLY). im not too sure tho - someone with a large negative balance might try this and tell if this really works... i know it sounds too stupidly simple, but with RIL we never know - remember how stupidly simple the de-activation/activation (*4120/412) trick was ? keep us informed... this would save a lotta money and trouble IF it really works...it works for ME so far...as i said, i never had the negative balance issue...never.
  13. Port Blocking By Reliance

good question bro....im not sure if i know all the implications... i heard(of course thro such forums) from ppl who were actually sent legal notices from MGM, the film company...they informed the ISP also..anyways thats U.S, not India. back here, my buddy got a memo from our institution's Computer department for d/l ing new tamil movies...and it was not even p2p....but they were NEW movies. we do have a few tips for safer file-sharing... avoid downloading (if possible:) ) brand new movies/albums...they are just TOO hot. Do NOT use p2p file-sharing in a LAN...u might get into trouble...locally. stop uploading once u get ur 1:1 ratio right ...no real need to keep the u/l going after that. this may not be directly related - but it sure is wise to have "Peer Gaurdian" and/or "Protowall" running. thats about what i've gathered so far...im sure ppl have better suggestions to improve on... cheers
  14. Port Blocking By Reliance

RIL does NOT block any ports dude... like cruiser said, i think RIAA and such agencies have started busting p2p torrent uploaders...meaning - ur tracker site may be down and thats why ur d/ls are stalled... try someother tracker maybe... keep browsing
  15. ever since *4120 was nulled, our free_net_bug nearly died now, its lingering in its last days probably... and so, without *4120, we gotta use a recharge "now and then" and this "now and then" seem to vary from 1 week to as short as i day.... if we do the math, we can see that we definitly stay rconnected LONGER than the rcv's denomination allows us...for eg a 165 rcv(75 rs talk.browse time) should last us only few hours not few days...BUT even "days" are not really affordable to us. 165 rs every 2 or 3 days isnt exactly a free ride. Its been tough to figure out ways to keep our rconnect sessions longer...and we could really use some collective-knowledge here.... If u gus are usin rcvs "now and then"(like me,now) pls tell us how many days does ur average session last? (the actual rcv denominator is irrelevent here, i beleive) - just how many days ? apparently the actual denomination/value of the rcv doesnt seem to matter(in the context of free_rconnect)...and so it makes sense to go for the LOWEST rcv available.... we could proly figure out the "average" number of days we can expect to stay online by recharging once....(which we actually DONT know as of now!!) ps: my last rcv lasted me <24 hrs...thats what spurred me to write this thread ....damn windows update -i was forced to restart and the rconnexion went dead.

psst...VivekRaja, try Gsmforums.com...u might find something interesting u did NOT hear this from me...ok ?
  17. interesting right.... lets wait and hear from the early birds or early worms or whoever
  18. dude, in today's & yday's Hindu ad about DATAONE, it says NO d/l limit (UNTIL JUNE 30th)for ppl who "join" b4 31, march...at the bottom called "early bird bonanza" fineprint... whats the catch ?
  19. Mobiles Linked To Tumours In Kids

nice find deepu.... this is on of those areas where "current" science has'nt enough evidence EITHER ways... we do have safty precautions though...say, u guys know how much ur handsets SAR value is...? thats one of the most critical factors in "deciding" how "dangerous" a handsets EM emissions are... For my lg 2030 for my t610 SAR<1.6 w/kg is good... SAR>1.6 is NOT good...(FCC standards) If ur not sure what im talkin about, try this FCC link U could start with ur handsets' FCC id - its printed in the label(inside our phone) when we open the battery.. i have attached the FCC grant for LG 2030...check it out LG_2030_FCC_GRANT.htm

  23. Browser Upgrade?

whats a "jbrowser" dude ? u ARE talking about internet browsers riight? do u mean IE or am i missing something totally ?
  24. Why Dont We Get BroadBand Speeds in India?

I know dude.... but its not like we have many options..... personally, i would prefer unlimited transfer to speed (considering the "fastest" available options and its charges CURRENTLY)
