  6. Lg2030 Won't Install With Third-party Cable

i dont think the CABLE is the problem....and,the s/f from reliance mostly works with ANY make of cable...not jus with the "official /branded" cable... maybe u could start with a lil bit more detail on when/which step of the installation fails....what exactly did u "troubleshoot" ? we could really use some details here... Re-check the basics, maybe - did u get the specific driver for ur phone model AND for ur type of cnxn ? usb or COM port - how do u connect ? if its a laptop, i reckon its gonna be usb... Bottomline is, with such lil info from u, U R GONNA GET MSGS TO "go thru all the rubbish about uninstalling and reinstalling etc"..... post back with more details and maybe somethin will turn up
  7. GPRS

Hi... whats the catch with these flat-rate GPRS schemes (like from airtel) ....how do the companies afford it ? like,u can be online 24x7 all month and still the charge is same... agreed, it is slower compared to Rconnect....but still, 600/mon sounds tempting.... If thats REALLY the charge of connectivity, why is CDMA so much more costlier ? yes, i can see the 115 kbps Vs 33 kbps point....is this difference WORTH the seeminly huge difference in the monthly bill ? and btw, whats with this - no matter which cnxn i use (CDMA or GPRS or a land-line dial-up), when we check the modem properties in our pcs, it always says "standard 28.8 kbps modem"....shoudnt it reflect the 115 kbps speed that rconnect provides when we use it ??
  8. Effective R-Connect Speeds

Sure its NOT as fast as we like... but it still is the best among whatever ****ty ways we got to connect

  11. What Is Broadband?

hi there... say, when does the common indian netizen get some REAL Broadband action ? "broadband" has been THE most mis-used word this milleneum u know what i mean ?.... if the moderators are actually people workin for RelianceInfo, please please get us this answer...whatever happened to all those 30,000 + kms of optical fibres that reliance was diggin up? i mean, i remember ads about connections of 2mbps speed at the user-end , THREE YEARS ago...whats goin on ?? i hear the 'last-mile' connectivity is the sh*t to solve....tough one anyways, why are things so...hmmm, so non-transparent ( be it billin or up-to-date info of the promised newer techs)when it comes to reliance ...??? thats about enouh bitchin i guess..nothin personal, those tolerant moderator souls... please keep our customers updated....thats not much to ask, is it ? keep in touch... seetha
