E-waste is a genuine problem - it doesnt exactly get solved by 'giving it to someone else' U can start from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ewaste OR http://www.google.co.in/search?q=ewaste+in+india and move on to Indian pages... http://www.e-waste.in/ used to be alive, now it seems to be gone - try Google's cache for the site. I think they moved to http://www.e-waste.ch/ also try http://toxicslink.org/ - it has working groups in Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai - Btw, did you guys know we can salvage GOLD from used/non-working cellphones?

The 'How its Made' series... - "I think I am running out of things to be downloaded" - tanveer, i was thinking the same line yday . First time in over months i had actually shutdown my machine for the night with no 'desirable' torrents left to download This thread is a nice idea, let's please expand it to include "what have you seeded/leeched so far?" - THAT would give us interesting lists of torrented stuff. Keep browsing

8 GB at that price is a good deal, even if its a 'duplicate' - even if u get only 6 gb or so of 'real capacity' Check eBay for price levels check this link for tips about spotting fake pen drives, i saw a sony & vaio pen drive picture, like u've mentioned, on the page http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/Beware-of-FAKE-1...000000000953346 try dropping in a sony authorized showroom and see if they have a similar model... and ask if the warranty would apply to pieces bought elsewhere

My Experiance While China Visit. Its Worth Visiting Place
rEdshiFt replied to kshah's topic in The Lounge
Nice discussion here... Two things that strike me when thinking about china are Communism and Himalayas Communism as the form of governance has a ruthless efficiency in getting things done. This has augered well for china in a lot of ways ... industrial productivity, population control etc The thing about himalaya is this - historicaly, Himalayas has been the ' Great Barrier' (physical, cultural and otherwise) between the two cultures. . Two Great cultures with rich histories - so close yet so unconnected... all credit to the Great Himalayas. I think those fahian(?) and the other chinese guy in our history book had to come by sea routes. IF there had been a easier land route, i beleive there would have been so much more cultural exchange between us over the past 6000 yrs or so Keep this topic going -

http://search.ebay.in/Induction-Cooker I think im gonna make this my signature or something - Google-it, Wiki-it and ebay-it - Thats ALL you need. 99% of out everyday internet querries get answered (if not delivered-to-home) with just these three. Of course we DO need forums and such to hear from ppl who actually used them - not just the word from the seller. Thanx all the same, thanx for letting me know that there is something called Induction Cooking.

Sony Erricsson themes can be taken apart piece by piece... and the pictures can be used seperately.... using this software called TCP -Theme Creator Pro. In fact we can make our own themes from the scratch using the sw. Not sure how it goes with ur Nokia (6265 ?)... try Googling on it, im sure there's some similar sw for Nokia themes.
