  2. Where R Bluetooth Drivers

try (drive):\windows\system32\drivers\bthenum.sys (drive):\windows\system32\drivers\bthports.sys (drive):\windows\system32\drivers\BTHUSB.sys these are the places where my bluetooth drivers are... they got installed when i plugged in my dongle... for xp, installing was not a big deal - bascically, i just plugged it in and it installs.

  4. What Does Your Login Id Mean

Ashok, thats not really what he's asking.... NOT "what is an username and its uses" , rather what is the "meaning" of it. like, he's telling why he has chosen the name iceman, and wants to know what everyone else's mean. red shift in a doppler (in astronomy) means the star is getting further from us/earth... (as opposed to a blue shift, which indicates the star is getting closer to earth)
  5. 1 Gbps B R O A D B A N D

Read THIS... Hong Kong Broadband Network (HKBN) officially launched its 1 Gbps symmetric service for the residential market. Approximately 800,000 households, out of a total of 2.2 million households in Hong Kong, are wired to receive the service. The 1 Gbps symmetric service is priced at US$215 per month. HKBN noted that its 1 Gbps service is up to 166x faster downstream and 1,950x faster upstream than the advertised bandwidth of the incumbent's ADSL service. HKBN Premium bb1000 service is being offered on the same metro Ethernet infrastructure that delivers the company's Mass Market bb100 (symmetric 100 Mbps for US$34/month) and Entry Point bb10 (symmetric 10 Mbps for US$16/month) services. http://www.ctinets.com/ 21-Apr-05 * HKBN is installing more than 10,000 Cisco Catalyst LAN switches and more than 800 Cisco routers in buildings throughout Hong Kong. Category 5e copper cables are wired from the LAN switch cabinet to the apartments of each target customer. Fiber-to-the-building (FTTB) was deployed between the buildings using the Cisco ONS 15454 Multiservice Transport Platform (MSTP) and Cisco Catalyst 4507R Switches. * HKBN is also using a Cisco Optical Core network. The deployment includes the Cisco ONS 15454 SONET/SDH Multiservice Provisioning Platform (MSPP); Cisco Catalyst 6500, Catalyst 4500, Catalyst 3350, and Catalyst 2950 series switches; and Cisco 2600XM Series routers. Cisco's ONS 15454 MSPP enables the carrier to converge its legacy voice and data services and a new pay-TV service into a single platform, and at the same time offer Layer 2 and 3 IP services using Resilient Packet Ring (RPR)-ready ML Series line cards. The network enables HKBN to deliver up to 200 digital pay-TV channels via MPEG-2 at 4.5 Mbps to 10 Mbps with DVD visual quality. Its service also features interactive pay-TV elements and enables PC or TV connection with the aid of a set-top box. I'm movin to Hong Kong

  8. Adblocking Google Ads,

This is for firefox users... how much do u use ur adblock ? has it bcom part ur must_have_essential ? the Adblock extension is at the middle of a hot controversy about the future of online advts, if everyone starts (ad)blocking every damn thing. this really IS a pretty serious issue ... for the advertisers. i was jus wonderin how much do our guys use adblock ...? so, do u adblock the ads in the rimweb forums ?
  9. jus wonderin, how big is ur hard disk space? with all the downloads left and right, my storage is gonna burst open soon Thanx to the dvd writer, i have been able to take some stuff off the machine.... i had started w 40gb, had to get an extra 80gb an year ago... even this is gonna overflow now ! ( got some 6gigs of ebooks and 10gigs of comics, besides all the movies and stuff) <TOPIC MOVED!>
  10. Adblocking Google Ads,

just my two cents worth - most google ads are very tough to adblock, they keep coming again and again.... its typically like trying to block the text ads in rapidshare - near impossible anyways, we have something called RIP - remove it permanantly which helps where items are not ad-blockable

  13. Should Camera Phones Be Barred!

Flash news: Anna university "bans" ALL cellphones in 200 odd enginering college campus in TN. ! looks like a "ban" on mobile phones was on (in anna univ campus) for the past one month or so !! pretty sad
  14. Should Camera Phones Be Barred!

No. Definetly not a overall/carpet ban. "restricted use" might be more like it... in cetain places. Infact, i dont think even t he govt can really "ban" a camera phone.

  21. Poll For Heavy Downloads (rconnect)

the 'unlimited' post-paid plan in rconnect is not really unlimited i think.... there is this stupid issue of "credit limit".
