Try a different USB port, sometimes the phone detection is a bit quirky and the PC Suite doesnt pick up the phone when its hooked up through the data cable. If that doesnt work, try uninstalling the PC Suite, reboot and reinstall the latest version and try connecting again. That's worked for me.

I would like to know if anyone has bought/ reviewed the HTC TyTN II also known as the HTC Kaiser. It is a GSM phone crammed to the gills with features. I think it is one of the ultimate PDA phones in the market from a few reviews I read online, but I would really like to know if some of the knowledgeable members in our forum have used this particular model or atleast seen it in action. Please do put your thoughts in this thread and help me out in taking a decision on whether to go for this particular model or buy an iPhone.

Do these guys actually ship new mobiles phones purchased online to India, from the US??? I mean, wouldnt that get blocked by customs here!!! Hope to see detailed reviews on both the phones in the next couple of weeks. Its pretty hard for a guy like me to jump to a conclusion on which one to buy, so I'm looking forward to seeing user opinions on both models before I take the dive!!

I've been using the 6265 over the last 7 months and since last week I've been having a weird problem. Every time I make or receive a call, the camera activates itself and records a picture on its own. Sometimes even in standby mode it does this, though not as often as when I make calls. Since the phone is still in the warranty period I took it to the Nokia care centre and they said that it is a problem with all Nokia 6265 models and they havent found a way to recify this problem as yet!!! Does anyone have a fix for this or should I take it back to the Nokia people and ask them to replace the handset. Thanks

Nokia took back my defective phone and replaced it with a new one 2 days ago. That was after I threatened to sue them. lol

I have been using PC suite and Dongle to transfer files. There are no specific settings as such, however you will get connected to PC suite faster if you pair the device using Blue Soleil. Just click on Get connected and Choose Blue tooth. It does take time to connect but once connected, works fine. Thanks Chirag. Since I'm using D-Link's proprietory software that came along with the dongle, I dont have Blue Soleil installed, it tends to create a conflict with the dongle's existing drivers. I think I'll take your advice and be a little more patient and "wait" and see if it connects again. Prolly I wasnt waiting long enough for it to detect the phone Ok I've configured the D-Link dongle DBT-122 to work with PC Suite. I'm attaching a pdf file as to how to go about it, in case somebody needs help configuring the D-Link dongle later on. Dont know if this has been covered before, I did search most of the threads but couldnt find anything relevant relating to it. Has anybody had success linking up their 6265 to the Nokia PC Suite using a blue tooth adapter?? I'm using a D-Link DBT-122 and all the applications it's configured work perfectly except being able to connect to PC Suite through blue tooth.( tried a few other blue tooth dongles, the cheaper ones which come with the "Blue Soleil" software are a waste of time and money, half of them arent even actually licensed versions!!!) If anybody's been able to link up the PC Suite using a blue tooth dongle please let me know how you've done it. I'm using PC Suite vers. 6.7.0.22 ( the new version has problems converting AAC files and displaying them properly in the phone playlist, that's why I'm using the older version) Any help would be greatly appreciated. I dont know if any of you chaps have noticed this. ( especially directed at guys like Shumi and the others who are experts about this phone) I'm using PC Suite ver.6.81. Under that program you have the Music Manager ver.1 which allows you to optimise your mp3 music to the AAC format and reduce the file size of music stored on your phone memory card. What I've noticed is, everything works fine, but when you create a playlist of songs you have loaded onto the mem card and open that play list in the Music Player of the 6265, all the song titles appear to be in Chinese or Korean or some language like that, its not in English anymore. Has anybody noticed this and if so, have you found out a remedy to make them appear in English instead??

Do any of you guys have a problem with 1GB mem cards not being supported on the new 6265? I tried a few brands of 1GB mini SD cards on the phone and they show up as "unformatted" with no option to actually format them. Even if you take the card out and format it on a card reader and put it back in the phone, it still shows up as "unformatted". This seems to have been an issue on Nokia 6265 which has been discussed on another forum. I am putting a link thru to that discussion here http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?Forum...mp;TopicId=6292 In that forum they've kind of isolated it down to being a compatibility of certain brands with the 6265, and it seems only the Kingston brand of SD cards in the 1gb capacity work on 6265. I have placed an order for a Kingston mini sd card with my vendor but I still havent received it so I'm waiting to see how it goes. Have any of you chaps had a similar problem with 1 GB cards on the 6265? Hope you can give me some input on other compatible brands which work on the 6265 :-)

Hi, I downloaded the Opera mini browser app from one of the links posted in the threads here and installed it. But I cant seem to get a connection thru. On the introduction page of the browser where we have to push the joystick button to test if the connection is working, I get an error message "KNIEXT_NewGlobalRef failed" and then the applications quits. R World access works perfectly fine, I just cant get this Opera browser to work Can somebody please help me out? Thanks
