I PM'ed you the contact number of one person in Pune...Have you contacted him? Check your message inbox on this site. Talk to Parag. The problem lies in the PC now (as you have deleted entreis) and not the phone/ cable. Better take help from your software vendor.

Dear Mr Joshj...Due to security measures (at each country now ), telecom connections are issued only after proper verification. In your case, since you are a resident of Australia, you cannot avail any telecom connection here in India. To avail a new connection, the only possibility is to make arrangements through your acquiantance in India to take a valid connection in his/ her name (the Reliance Wireless Data Card is also sold as a new Phone connection). The wireless internet connectivity is also available through Reliance Mobile phones and Landline phones. If any of your acquantance is already using a Reliance Phone, you may check for the Internet capability of the handset and use their set with the help of correct data cable on your laptop as long as you plan to stay here. By the way, what is the policy in Australia? If I wish to visit Australia and I have an Indian passport, would I be able to get a phone/ datacard connection?

Sorry Rahul...R-World compatibility differs from Handset to Handset. In 5130, you had some more than 200 R world applications supported whereas in 6230, no of Rworld applications supported are somewhere around 30 odd only. And, phonebook upload/ download is not there. The only possible option for you is to do it manually buddy.

No...nothing to do with TCP/IP settings..that means the problem is very small and we are just moving around. How did you surf before on the same machine? Was it on LAN thru some proxy?

If I use the settings as recommended by you , I cannot connect. I have to use Menu->Setting->Phone->Data Setting->Data Baud->USB setting. Is this the problem? No. Stay on USB setting only. Now, check as below- 1.) Is your phone activated? Can you make an outgoing call from FWP? 2.) If yes, in IE, goto Tools->Options->Connections. Here, in the list of installed modems your LSP should be reflecting. 3.) If yes, goto Control Panel->Phones and Modems->Click on your LSP Modem and check if the Dialled no. is #777 and the username is your complete no. like 2032XXXXXX and same should be the password.

Have you checked the Data Baud Rate of LSP 350R? For LG LSP350R, press Menu->Setting->Phone->Data Setting->Data Baud->115200 Further, you also need to check under Tools option of IE, if the modem is reflecting. Are you getting any error messages when you try to connect thru R Connect?

Converting Old Rim Number To "new 10 Digit Number"
rajeevjee replied to kachaid's topic in The Lounge
Give me your old Reliance no...I will get you the new 93 no (provided it's still ACTIVE) -
It's not a long procedure at all. You ony need to fill a termination form and return your instrument in working condition alongwith the charger and all. You also need to clear all outstanding (billed+unbilled). If you have deposited any security deposit, you will get the REFUND cheque couriered to your billing addrees within a matter of 60 days (practically not more than 37 days). That's it !! But, a better thing to do would be to find out any known person to you who would be interested in a PLATINUM plan on FWP. This second guy would only need to pay Rs.500 extra as Transfer of Ownership Fees and he can then use your phone for unlimited access. This second guy can be from anywhere in India as Reliance also offer the facility of "Number change to New City". You also happy...and this other guy would also be thankful to you...

Hey Pradeep...First of all you need to state your machine's OS and the interface of your data cable (USB or Serial). I am finding it difficult to attach attachments at this site. So, either give me your mail id so that I can send you the installation guide as well as the correct software by mail or you may also visit the nearest Reliance Webworld and get the software downloaded in a CD at their Broadband Centre by paying a nominal amount.

Congrats Rajinder...This is a new offering from Reliance and I am too eagerly awaiting to hear it's success story. Do share your experience with us!!

Hey DIN..first of all try your ZTE card with that adapter on PC...don't return FWP till you have successfully used the ZTE card on PC as well because you will not get platinum plan on FWP again... Secondly, you can still get Platinum plan on your data card (you can get it changed from 1GB plan to platinum plan at no extra fee).
