Hey Guys.. Whats the review on voice quality for voice calls.. I get terrible static and echo, and there seem to be no setting get this right.. It is almost impossible to talk in a moving vehicle.. the Echo of the wind results in very faint audibility from the other end.. Is this how the Pre is for all of us.. or did I get a bad piece? Any suggestions?

Whats the code for that? I dont have the toggler.. USBPASS is asking for password.. Whats the way out?

After correcting for data, I am unable to get the USB mode When I plug my cable, I am not asked for any options Quick install does not work Gets detected on QPST though Tried restarting repeatedly.. Developer mode is On What would be the problem?

Rom in 99, worked for me too.. sms working fine Time syncronised too Have to still figure out 1x.. tried all steps Muffy detailed in another post.. still struggling

Installed rom 1.4 time/calendar/scheduler issue resolved.. but till yesterday it was really funny.. showing some other countries time.. anyways thanks

Quick question.. sorry to post here I am on Palm PRE Qinray 1.0.4 v3 and after I install apps using WebOSQuickInstall, I dont see it in menu. It appears in Device Management list, but cant see it phone. Am I missing anything simple?

Is recovery mode not helping to reflash with earlier stable rom?

I am on Palm PRE Qinray 1.0.4 v3, and continue to face the sms problem.. Talking of characters that get delivered.. there is no consistency that only 70 or 120 characters come? Some SMSes get truncated with just 25-30 characters too.. and in some I get full 140..

Does anyone experience the problem of clarity of voice when a message arrives while talking? For me, when a message arrives while talking.. the voice of opposite person almost sounds like a robot is talking at the other end.. Any solution for this?

Possibly because, you are using the clo*e as well as original.. Refrain from using both..

Its heats up within the first 10 mins.. Btw, cant help compare treo.. never heated even with calls as long 2-3 hours.. but anyways.. Any suggestions on other questions?
