Is it true that Pentium core Duo gives better performance than intel pentium 4 processor. Also AMD 64X2 is 64 bit. Is intel Duo core 32 or 64 bit? Intel Core Duo T2300 /AMD Turion 64x2 Processor (preferabbly AMD) 15.4 inch/17 inch screen(preferrably 17") 1GB RAM 667MHz FSB. Win XP Pro/Home/Media center edition(preferrbly media center) DVD writer. Please suggest me a model in HP,DELL,LG,IBM with link if possible. My budget is around INR 62,000. Also what is so bad about celeron 1.5GHz processor that people dont wanna go for it??? Do all laptops have PCMIA slot where once can insert Reliance/Airtel data card. Kishore, If u wanna invest in balanced fund HDFC Prudence is a good choice. For equity fund HDFC equity is a good choice. Have a look at valueresearchonline.com and most of tthe 5 start funds are good. Also read about fund manager there and you would have a fair idea..... What do u mean by gold investment? is it the mutual funds in gold?

I invested in HDFC Tax Saver, Magnum tax gain, Fidelity Tax adavantage, Kotak Tax Saver.(SIP Rs 1000 each) HDFC, Magnum and Kotak are giving good returns. Got 14% in the last 3 months. Also thinking of taking Reliance ELSS and Pru Icici tax plan. New Fund manager for pru icici tax plan is a B.Tech from IIT and MBA from IIM Calcutta. lets see how this fund does....

I purchased a travel charger for my LG RD2030 via invoice number 03004-ACR-3879 from a webworld in delhi on 1st september 2004. while purchasing the charger i got it opened & checked at the webworld itself & i noticed that the all the lights of the handset remain ON as long as the charger is plugged inside the handset. the reliance official who tested the charger told me that it was software version problem & i need to upgrade my s/w. i got the s/w upgraded from authorised LG service center but still the problem remains unsolved. The LG people told me that it is not a software problem & there is no harm even if the light remains ON.(though i got the s/w upgraded.) i went back to the webworld & the officials there told me that they have no solution to the problem & there is no harm even if the lights remain ON. i told them to give it to me in writing that i will face no problem even if the lights of my phone remain ON throughout the night while charging. they refused to do that. I request all of u NOT to purchase a TRAVEL CHARGER as the phone starts heating up in 5 minutes on connecting the charger to the handset. i've been told this happens in moon light phone also. they even dont have a desktop charger as it is not avilable any more. I have written a compaint to the chairman's office 4 the same.

Hutch is the Best!!! Did u ppl hear abt the new 399 postpaid plan in Delhi. WOW 1000 mins hutch to hutch local mins free. To others 60 paise. 1000 mins hutch to hutch std free. To others Re 2. 1000 hutch to hutch sms free. others 60paise Now which GSM operator beats that. Lets compare with CDMA too Network, Billing ,custcare excellent. Lets not compare handsets with CDMA. I think DAPO guys shold consider shifting......

Is BPL now HUTCH in Maharashtra. I have Re 1 std calling from my hutch in delhi to any hutch phone in the country. Does that mean I would be able to make Re 1 call to BPL in maharashtra right now from my hutch phone?

6230i has all the features but it does not have a smbian OS and its screen is small. Other choices in increasing price order are Nokia 3230, Nokia 6630 and Nokia 6681. I'm also looking for a good EDGE enabled handset without a Camera but probably Nokia wants all of us to have camera phones and make MMS . Why dont they manufacture a phone with all the features without camera because its the camera which increases the cost. Nokia 6020 also has edge & camera , no memory card, costs around 8K.
