With HTC Hero in my hand and upcoming Nexus 1, my craze for I-phone has vanished

I am downloading more than 30GB during the night unlimited time by scheduling my torrents and downloads. SO these plans are useless for me.

Airtel in TN has also started to charge for calling to customer care ao 50p/3m

Ya people are excited about this product. I had a chance to feel the N1 from my cousin. I am comparing N1 with Sprint Hero - N1 is thinner, but feels heavier (Is it really heavier than Hero) The response is very fast due to the mighty processor To hold in hand, I felt Hero was more comfortable Flash in N1 is great advantage UI seemed little better in N1 The call register in N1 was very attractive. The different colours used for incoming, outgoing and missed was really attractive The smart dial available in Hero is missing in N1, which seems a great drawback. The above are some of the points which I noted.

I feel the basic problem is due to the handset and not the technology. I am using both GSM(Airtel-Nokia E51) and RCDMA( HTC Hero). I don't find problem in any of these 2 technologies. If anyone has problem, I suggest them to change the handset and try.

I am using Airtel for many years in TN and surely Airtel has improved a lot and I would rate their service one of the best. Due to the 1800Mhz frequency in which they are operating, it has problems in indoor coverage. But they are improving a lot.

This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. If it goes on like this then in future they will charge customers for entering their showrooms. Really funny. . Asking customers to pay for speaking with you is most worst thing a company can do, whatever business may be.

Airtel TN and Kerala Reliance have some interconnection problem. I am a TN RCDMA customer. When I was roaming in Kerala last November, whenever I called TN Airtel no. they could not hear my voice. It is sad to hear that still they havenot sorted out this interconnection problem.

When an outgoing call is made, the call duration starts immediately when the called number starts ringing. Actually we need to know the time only after the call gets answered. Anyway to find the exact called duration in Reliance?

Not just Reliance even in my Airtel I have this problem. Even when my RCDMA number is switched off and I send a SMS from my AIrtel, I immediately get a delivery report. I think there is a problem between Reliance and Airtel regarding this. Inspite of complaining to both nothing has improved. With my RCDMA, so far I have got all my delivery reports correctly

Call conference comes pre-activated in post-paid. I was using Call conference when I was using Nokia 6275. Only in HTC Hero I am having problem using this facilty. My first call is kept in hold and it does not get merged.
