Well one great point in this is Tata's GSM service is not available in all the circles. So this achievement is really fantastic. This is sure a wake up call for all the biggies - Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance and BSNL. If TATA is able to achieve this growth for couple of months more, then really we are here to witness another revolution in pricing in Inidan mobile market. Hope quality does not get affected

The major dis-advantage of this plan is calls to other local mobiles will be 60p to Re.1, which I feel is somewhat higher. Airtel is very clever in extracting money. This scheme is very useful for people who call Airtel and use STD a lot. But those who call local mobiles will at dis-advantage.

It is available in Tamilnadu. You can try in your region. It is actually a corporate CUG plan. But even for individuals they have a similiar plan. Try and post your response

I too agree with the above view. Aircel was a worst network in TN. But now it has improved a lot. Sure if they give this offer in TN without tremendous increase in capacity, then it is sure that the network will go again back to very poor levels

In India off network call forward is available. From my RCDMA I have diverted calls to my Airtel mobile. But Airtel allows only call forward within its network. So it is not problem with TRAI, it is only problem with the operators.
