I hope this plan is available only for Reliance Industries,general public and even small corporates cannot get this plan Is this plan available in TamilNadu?

It is not entirely reliable to go with masses/public perception when it comes to telecom spending habbits. As you know, majority of the ppl are in the lower income bracket.. do they have much choice? So there itself your 75-80% subscription is Prepaid. Many Individuals are rejected for Postpaid by Operators themselves on grounds of 'Addres & Credit Verification'. But here its not just about money.. but also convenience & other necessities why ppl choose PostP over PreP. Like accounting issues, CUG availibilty, R-R Onnet Tariffs etc. these pros/cons are already being discussed in some other Topic. Anyways, where-ever especially i have advocated Postpaid, its mainly with reference to Corporates/mid-high income ppl & their convenience cum sometimes necessity to go for it. i don't think this is the only Forum supporting PostPaid. I 100% agree with the above views. I use post-paid for the following reasons Convenient. No need to remember recharge date and recharge it CUG - 100% free calls within my group with no additional charge Call conference- a must for our company, we use it a lot Super plan-Platinum 225 which is ideal for me since I call lots of local mobile which is only 30p Super customer service-Extra care since corporate customer The above reasons suit me, so I am in and will be in post paid only. Depending upon individual requirement pre-paid may be cheaper for many but never convenient.

Ya definitely TATA tariffs are much lower, but in coverage they are still lagging behind Reliance

What will happen to your health if you talk this much daily? Even if your health is not affected. Your life will be affected very much due to constantly being in phone and no time to think or take care other.

It all depends on your need, what you expect to do with your handset. Write down your most important priority, least important and then decide what type of handset you require.

It will only help us. We would be able to change to GSM using the same number shortly. Lets hope that happens soon

TATA Indicom is really shaking the market. * It was the first to launch 2 yr incoming free, which led to life time * In life time it reduced the call charges drastically * And now this. Hats off

I also feel you have made the right choice by buying E71. I am using E51 for past 1 year and extremely satisfied. With E71 you would be doubly satisfied. A few bucks more is really never a issue. Enjoy

I 100% agree with this view. I am using Reliance CDMA and Airtel GSM for past 2 years. Other than choice of handsets, I would rate Reliance CDMA far better than Airtel in the following terms Better continous network while in travels. Airtel breaks and then again we have to call Relaince CC response( email to company) is as good or even better when compared to Airtel Tariffs are far cheaper I am able to keep better contacts with Reliance team, since the number of postpaid corporate subscribers in Reliance are less, so always Roayl treatment. But in Airtel you are in a ocean So except handset options expect all others to be a tad lower. This is from my own personnel experience

Just called reliance CS and they said gsm services are launching on dec 15th in all major metros. I also asked them whether I can shift my 93 number to gsm. They said reliance gsm will be all 90 numbers Ya Reliance GSM numbers will start with 90. We will be able to change our existing CDMA numbers 93 to GSM after some time when they allow NMP. So we need to wait..
