Six months back Reliance people asked permission from me to erect a Reliance GSM tower in my house vacant area. They even promised handsome amount. But fearing this radiation, I refused it. I think I did a wise decision. Already I am speaking in mobile for 2 to 2 and half hours daily. Lately I have started using bluetooth headset to avoid this radiation near my head. One more fact which I would like to share. The Reliance technical team were often in my office premise to check the network. The senior person shared his view on radiation. *A tower should never be erected in or near hospitals where babies are born *He said no Reliance technical team engineer in Madurai region has a boy baby. It may be a coincidence, but he suspects this radition *He advises never to keep your mobile near your head while sleeping, better to switch off So try to reduce exposure to the maximum

Really good option for people who go for trekking and need to be in the rains. Even some people may need it in day to day work

I agree with Kamal points. Even I am very dissatisfied with Relaince CDMA service now (which used to be great 6 months back). I am also in same position as you. So please wait till GSM launch. Donot invest in CDMA handsets now. Go for LG3500 or 3600 now.

bro digital cameras will b digital cameras......mobile phone cameras cant take their place......but then one thing what makes phone cameras to essential is that they r the everyday objects u carry with u and since 90% of the times u would just take pictures randomly so in such cases its not possible to carry a seperate digital camera Agreed friends

Simple rule When volume is up - the prices are down - GSM when volume is low - prices are high - CDMA I dont think this will change. Since the gap between GSM and CDMA is still widening. It will take a miracle for CDMA to bounce back

But still the picture quality in phones is nowhere near standalone digital cameras and it will never be.
