^ I am using the Razr M for my GSM connection. I can take my sim out and do the call forwarding. But still I face a problem. For immediate call forward, there is no problem. But calls do not get forwarded for Busy option. Only in this phone I am facing this problem due to this Verizon blocking

Thanks, I hv frozen many of the unwanted apps. But still I hv not found solution for Call forwarding. Verizon has done some programming to block call forwarding outside its network. Like wifi hotspot there must be some procedure to correct it. Can anyone help me in this?

This is in reply to a PM from Vikash & also his post (quoted above). Am sharing this process here in case anyone benefits from it. Using the following method I have successfully activated tethering on the Electrify M. Hope it helps for the Razr M too. Firstly for rooting use the following process. Its dead easy:- http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/15208-root-motochopper-yet-another-android-root-exploit-412/ Then use Titanium to firstly backup all the apps. In the case of the Electrify M, there was a certain app called Synchronoss TEDC which was blocking the tethering. Maybe in Razr M there is a different app which blocks the tethering. So, using Titanium I froze the TEDC app. Rebooted the phone & tethering was working perfectly even with the stock tethering app. With my Evdo connection I could get 1.2 Mbps tethering speeds on my laptop. Do post here if anyone has success with this for the Razr M tethering. Thanks! How to find the list of Apps that are installed by Verizon, which block Wifi tethering, Call forwarding etc. in Razr M?

I am using Verizon Razr M for my GSM connection. Verizon has blocked Call Forwarding outside its network. I am using this as it is bought condition from Parin. Android versin is 4.1.2 and System version is 98.18.78.XT907.Verizon.en.US Will Rooting the phone help me able to do Call Forwarding?

Since I could not power on my Razr M by whatever way, I gave my phone for service in Chennai, Firstcall Technologies. Thank god, they readied my phone in 1 day. They said there was problem in power section. Moisture had entered and affected it. Actually on the problem night, I had kept it charging in a AC room in a hotel. It was an old ac and I could remember moist air coming from the ac. As the phone was getting charged near the ac, moisture might have gone in and affected. Luckily I got back my phone in perfect condition and I was charged Rs.1600

My Razr m is not powering on after and overnight recharge. Yesterday night I recharged using Samsung Galaxy Nexus charger (for the past couple of days I had been using this charger). My phone was powered while I put it to charge. When I woke up, I saw the green led light up ( normally it does not do like this). Whatever I did there was no response. I searched the net tried and tried pressing power key + volume up key and holding for some time. I tried power + volume down and power + volume up + volume down key, nothing has worked. I tried again charging my phone with the original Razr M charger. Same the Green led light is coming up and no other response. What can I do now? Please help guys

I am using an imported handset Galaxy nexus, brought from one of the reputed sellers here. Now I am planning to port out of RCDMA pre-paid to Airtel post paid. Currently call, SMS and EVDO data is working perfectly in my handset. After porting out, I want to sell the handset and the buyer should be able to use all these. While porting out, 1. Can I directly port out to Aitel GSM? Or 2. Should I transfer my number to RUIM and then port out? If the number needs to be transferred to RUIM, what kind of request should I give to web world? If the above is done, will the buyer of my handset be able to use all services - call, SMS and EVDO IN RCDMA ? -

Just yesterday I got time to check this Galaxy Nexus handset thoroughly, in which I have transferred my son's number. Call and SMS are working perfectly. But data is not working. I was in various locations in Chennai and not even 1x is working. There is no Internet sign 1x or 3G displayed in the notification area. Last week actually after the number got transferred the data worked. There was 3G sign displayed and within 30 minutes Rs.50 was deducted for data when I was driving car from one place to another. After that I activated the Rs.94 pack and I tried yesterday. No Internet connection and when I called customer care, they said Internet is active in all CDMA. What should be done to activate Internet in this handset Galaxy Nexus? Please help -
