its not a difficult thing to do. people go buy handsets from the open market & the RUIM card of whiever proiver they wish, then insert the card in ur new handset & dial @228 followed by 00 or 01 or some code, then the phone is programmed Over The Air (OTA) or u just go into a WW with ur new handset & get them to insert ur ESN no into the system & then activate OTA. this is like a perfect mobile world..only thing is that i wish we had handset at par with GSM handsets... i would love to see smart phones in CDMA...very very few are available.

something is definately up with reliance. i just received a call from manila today & the number showed as if it was a local number. ( 022-39582430 ) when i tried calling it back again...after many BEEPS...it just said that this no is not available right now. -

yes, even after registering DAP ur adware stuff does not go. everytime i restart my comp sypbot searches & finds DAP entries (adware) ive just downloaded Go!Zilla. lets see how it does. good thing is that it can copy links from the clipboard. & it works with opera as well. Vishal I suggest you use "Spybot Search and destroy" to check whether the adware entries are still there in registry, coz these send your information outside your comp. and is one of the reason behind spams. Even I did have a "Registered" Version of DAP. 17016[/snapback]

the file u have downloaded is named 911part1.zip. theres a DOT after the zip rename the file without the DOT after the zip like this 911part1.zip now unzip & see what happens. also try unzipping it with winarar instead.

we'll have to ask samsung if it will be. if RIM is following the DoCoMo pattern..then definately it will be..... lets cross our fingers they do & that too at a resonable price.

yes these would be RUIM based... also the 6225 has BT, memory card, 2 colour screens..IR port...video..mp3 ring tones & this phone is definately pegged for the indian market, launching soon, as its on te nokia india site as up comming models. (nokia.co.in)
