now this is what i'm waiting for. nokia has not yet launched it. maybe RIM will launch this phone.... The Nokia 6255 CDMA phone is an absolutely elegant blend of superior features and superb styling. The fold phone shines with features like the dual color display and the integrated VGA Camera, which includes flash, digital zoom and self-timer. Take mobile entertainment to a new level with live audio/video streaming1, video recorder, MP3/ACC player and integrated FM Radio. The business minded will appreciate enhanced mobility with qualities like PC Suite2 and high-speed connectivity3 via Bluetooth4, Infrared5 or USB cable. Unfold an array of rich experiences with the Nokia 6255 CDMA phone. ------------its shown on the nokia.co.in UPCOMMING MODELS section. so obviously this is pegged for the indian market. this phone would be kick ***... more reviews on this phone here.... http://www.mobileburn.com/review.jsp?Id=700&source=HOMETOP http://www.mobiledia.com/phones/nokia/6255.html

these phones are only advertised as of now. they have not yet been launched nor have they been prices as yet, but be rest assured they will be expensive....not worth the money.

thats true. in my opinion, the LG5130 is the best reliance phone as of now.(only i would have loved the speakerphone activation to be with a press of a button instead of actually holding down a button of 2seconds)

RIM is definately cheaper. i had GSM with Full GPRS, which is rs.500 per month extra plus for me SMS is cheaper(DAPO)compared to GSM. if all things considered EQUAL, then also at an average monthly SMS saving for me is rs.1000 atleast f not more. but call charges are cheaper in RIM,which for heavy users like me, makes a diff at the end of the month. my gsm bills on a average were rs.3000 now with rim(DAPO) my bills are rs.1200....2 more years to go till DAPO gets over..i'll have saved enough as far as handsets go, reliance is a very new company & it yet has to mature, once it does that handset swapping will be not a big deal at all, plus wait & watch all handsets will be subsidised or available on installments, which again will reduce ur burden & also moe chances of exchange. this kind of upgradation is already being done in USA & Japan & Korea. ....11 years back when GSM came to india, one had only 4-5 choices of handsets...its now, almost after 6years that handsets were more freely available. plus to add to that..rim has seemless roaming & net access throughout india, gsm yet has a few glitches with their "data" roaming & compatibility issues from network to network. one more thing CDMA is a much more newer technology than GSM, india has not yet explored its data capabilities etc yet...long long way to go. now if u look at where RIM stands , looking at these issues...its already a leap ahead.... true, that they seem to be "BLODDY CHORRS" ...... but their service is really good.. have u ever compared the network coverage to any gsm player... their network coverage is far far superior...dont u agree?

does anyone have the keypad codes for entering nam settings for samung slim phone?
-
u have to donload for 7230 & rename the dll file. same software works for almost all LG phones actually.
-
i hope they do. i hope they have symbian based phones from nokia or windows mobile based phones. then there will be a whole new world of things u can do u ur phone & net access will be a different league totally. i just cant wait. if they ever come out with a communicator... i will pay almost anything for it.... just talking about the possibilities is making me DROOL!!!! (i just hope they dont burst my bubble)

as far as i know, it cant be used for any damn thing except sending & receiving Contacts from other LG phones. Its a total waste of an IR port.

this was an article in the news paper... new smartphones to be launched soon.

does anyone know thecode for entering the nam settings in samsung 356???

that must be a BPL issue not reliance. anyways, reliance email is not yet functional in its best form. its yet at a very young state.
