Thanks rohit... can i call you? Couple of queries... how much did it end up costing all inclusive and does it work for evdo as well? Are the external antennas included as well? It says its dual band and supports gsm too? Did u try that?

So the case in point is extremely poor reception in the basement and groundfloor of my new workshop. Outside of it, cell signals return to normal and get all 5 bars. The closest tower is like 300m away. Has anyone here used one of these singal booster kits? Please point me in the direction... any reviews or suggestions welcome...

I have used these and done a lot with similar sbc - single board computers. Id be more than willing to guide/ assist in developing whatever one wants.
