  1. @Amitstg & Sitansu the original post reads how Amit wants to access rimweb with the least amount of data transfer so he prefers wap... in other words the lo-fi version of this forum which lacks the ability to let one reply to threads... browsing the regular version of this site and replying from your phones or mine is normal without any doubts...
  2. i second this thought... somehow our govt always fire fights in the name of planning... examples that cross my mind are... constant widening of the same roads... single instead of double line on konkan railways when laying double at the time of inception would have costed marginally more as compared to a fresh and daunting task of laying a second line from scratch... telephone numbers... and now cellphone numbers...
  3. Any Cdma Handset On Reliance

@Prithviraj... to bring you at par with the discussion here... we were talking about imported cdma phones from USA which work on software provisioning and lack RUIM slot or support... the deal is to activate these instruments with 'out of the reliance network e.s.n' here on the reliancde network in india...
  4. not again !!! just when you thought you were getting into a comfort zone of your cell numbers not changing and also with number portability... this now

  18. Can someone PLEASE tell us what is the download speed we can expect on the S720 ? Is it really coming out by April 15th or will it take more time ? Thanks ..Pls reply Using Rconnect (1X Connectivity) on any of these instruments, you can max get 140-160kbps, depending ofcourse on signal strength and network congestion... with the advent of EVDO (3G on CDMA) in future these speeds would drastically increase provided the handset is evdo capable... unsure of the launch dates
  19. Net Charges On Windows Mobile

Rajdeep... its a decision for you to make... here on rimweb you would find ways to connect to the net thru both RWORLD (where you pay 10p/10kb) or thru RCONNECT (where you pay 60p/min peak time). both use #777 as the number to connect. what differs is the username and password to login to the network... once you have the windows mobile phone of your choice, dig deep for those usernames here and be assured you can browse the way you want... moreover you would also find threads suggesting you usage patterns for choosing between rworld and rconnect... hope this helps... just curious... which phone are you planning to buy from reliance?
  20. Taipei, Taiwan, March 28, 2008 BenQ today announces the launch of its latest mobile phone - the super-slim BenQ T60, targeted at the sophisticated, style-conscious consumers. Measuring a mere 8.9mm thin, the T60 sports a spacious 2.2-inch QVGA TFT LCD display, a rarity for a phone this slim, a built-in camera with 3.2 megapixel photo output, and a high-quality multimedia player.
