thx guys... i tried with blazeflash, first flight, bluedart, fedex, profesional, overnight and a few others... i even tried telling them it was going for repair... nothing worked... bluedart came up saying there was 50 percent chance it would get stuck in delhi... then would need a form 31... i decided i better send a fellow by train and it would cost less... and i did just that...

how long ago was this... they say this is something that has been constituted recently...

bluedart refused saying theres a 50 : 50 chance of i getting stuck midway...

guide me what needs be done... my mobile guy ahs tested the hardware and says nothing is wrong with it... power ic, connector tracks... everything seems to be working just fine...

using BL-6C, the specified battery; cahrger is working as is the battery when being charged in another phone...

In India ud get a ppc6700 from utstarcom (read reliance) and if ur importing one from US then get verizon...

PPC 6700 seems like the answer for all your needs... i have been using one for the same reasons... be prepared for a low battery with it cause keeping mails syncd and browsing OTA, battery goes bust even before u realise... but then this is perhaps the most powerful user-based handset available currently for reliance here in India. Reliance has reduced the prices so you should get it sub 20g and u can maybe invest in a spare or extended battery to keep you going... another option could be to import one from the US and make it compatible here (workaround requires effort) like some of us here have and your good to go...

It looks great... but i moved back to wm5 aku 3.5... heres why... 1. for some reason i couldnt add contacts or any other PIM related enteries. 2. ring tones sounded lower. 3. battery to me on BT drained faster than on 3.5 4. phone sluggish on htc home screen. i even used it without it and still found the phone hanging occasionally... 5. the release has most of prop softwares that require registration to use. 6. i couldnt get the speed dial utility to work either.

yes i learnt it the hard way too... ruim cards dont come that easy... i would suggest you to goto the secondary cellphone market in pune and look for one... u might end up paying 150~250 for it...

i assumed a higher power battery must be giving better backup... i get close to 150 mins TT on BT with a full day of standby... brightness at 30% and screen off after 10 secs... a little browsing for mail on rconnect thrown in on 6700... was hoping with similar setup, 700p sholud go twice the distance...

million dollar question... what is the status on its battery... how long does it last full guns on bt and all... i just might wanna move onto it (my long since dream to have palm over windows 5/6)
