Done it this way only. Worked well for a couple of days... not any longer
-
the radio resetting is back to haunt me again. dunno what to do???
-
that's good. What seems to be the highlight... do u notice anything beter of eb13
-
Cardinal rule I repeat... Wait for xda
-
Wait for it to come on xda I would say
-
I would beg to defer. This reprogramming works flawlessly with di18. It is just to restore first from factory state and then to reinstate your nam parameters. What radio you use, has almost no bearing.

the only deterrent is the non availability of ten action + i would so get this in a heart beat !!! -
actually first try on eb13 itself... i think it might work... if it doesnt then go through the downgrade upgrade cycle... which eb13 rom u using?
-
basically u do this with di18 and upgrade to eb13 using odin there after. then root, flash as u please
-
ensure you first take nam backup in cw2.7. then load the file with qpst. and finally restore your nam settings that u backed up with cw2.7
-
no such issues for me. i am running eb13 since 14th
-
Thanks to hetal all the way... I just tested and posted it forward
-
there you go... just remove the .txt extension from the file and there u have it. Backup your NAM via CDMA Workshop Load the Attache QCN file which will reset your MINReload NAM via backup file EPIC.qcn.txt
-
qcn is a qpst file extension. it is essentially a file to reset ur phone data and nam settings and bring it to an almost factory state. once done, u need to restore the nam settings from a backup taken before uploading this qcn file, and your good to go !!!
-
EB13 can be moved onto once u upload and reset ur epic through the qcn file being given out by hetal. once that is done... the radio reset issues will disappear !!
-
The process I fairly simple. Download the tar file of eb13 modem and flash it using odin. No wipes needed. Its available at xda.
-
I reiterate the instability of all eb13 builds.have tried virtually all permutations in the past two days and the reset issue remains. What I figured is that the kernel is to be blamed somehow. Using eb13 radio with di18 works flawlessly. So that's what I am sticking to. I even tried cyanogen mod, though it doesn't reboot, it has call routing issues... so pretty much irritating in the same way...
-
I am using the eb13 modem with di18... Works well... So its all in the eb13 kernel
-
i have been giving cyanogen mod a try and apart from its native quirks, no reboot issues at all... this is funny since its running the eb13 radio and no change to the prl either. this points more fingers then at the kernel... the answer could be in there somewhere... maybe the devs at xda could look into

truly epic v3
-
I am getting resets. But the frequency has greatly reduced
-
Dev is good friend of Hetal. Btw he is also porting miui rom nd sense to epic
