IMAP setup instructions are on the Gmail page. Sync folders by going to Menu-->Folders, then Menu-->Manage Folders and selecting what folders to sync. see if this works

yup same patch dhiraj it works very well. wrt gmail, i am able to recv mails using the same patch. never faced any issues. maybe i downloaded a java file ...anyways posting all the prog's i hv installed. see if u can trace that java one.

quick power off options incase u wanted to soft reset ur phone, u needed to switch off ur cell using the top power off button and then again pressing it to switch it on. u can also schedule ur phone to shut off at a predefined time. also u get an option to hard reset. psShutXP Power Key - Diamond.cab

i cud never download mails in outlook even with wifi unless i synchronize my handset with my comp ? i hv set outlook with my rediffmailpro account and it only gets updated when i activesync it. for my rediffmailpro account, i had to set a new account and after installing a pop3 fix from microsoft ( given to me by htc guys and already posted here in this forum ), i am able to download mails.

.the badboy cab files increase volume not clearity ....try it out urself and see so enhance clearity there is a setting in qpst downloaded qpst now what

finally i got after much struggle what i was looking for. managed to change the scrolling buttons ( home / people / messages / internet etc etc ) using a cab. And the beauty is that once u delete the cab from settings > remove files, the old icons are restored. lemme know if anyone is interested in those icons, will post the cab here. my latest today screen incorporating all the features

some timepass n useful gimmicks for ur diamond idea is to give a bigger screen to ur diamond no curtains - removes both top and bottom no top curtain - only removes the top no bottom curtain - removes only bottom Semi Transparent bottom curtain - makes the bottom curtain transparent which ever cab u wanna try, copy it to ur internal storage and run it and soft reset. to remove these cabs, simply go to start > settings > system > remove programs i m using no top curtain with Semi Transparent bottom curtain since using no bottom curtain makes the screen mix with programs screen and settings also am using carbon_extrablack_blackbars to make the title bar (which has start and other icons) black in touchflow 3d. to install the theme, simply unzip the zip file and copy the .tsk to ur internal storage. then go to settings > today and select the theme NoCurtains.cab NoTopCurtain.cab NoBottomCurtain.cab SemiTransparent_bottom_curtain.cab carbon_extrablack_blackbars.zip

there was a guy in xda who had manually changed his htc inbuilt speaker with a nokia xpress music one. where there is a will ;there is a way

also if u r looking at a music phone (speaker) then diamond is not the right choice. if u love to listen to music using earphones, then yeah dimaond has awesome clarity and sound effects r amazing. it has an audio booster in programmes which works only by plugging the earphones. if u like to play around with rom n stuff , there was a cab in xda whereby u can use audio boosters w/o earphones.

awesome i tried a couple posted in xda but none worked this has increased the talk/hear volume considerably but not much change while listening to music using speakers YOu have confused me. Should I order Diamond. Voice volume was lower in my GSM J150 so I sold it at half price just after 3 months. Pls suggest me a good phone in CDMA with good VOICE volume. agree the voice is slow as compared to nokia handsets, but then u get used to it the cab which dr posted made the sound too loud that i had to reduce the volume from the side panel. that file has 2 cabs in it. hv not used the mid range one yet. nothing beats a diamond in term of functionality and smoothness but yes it takes time to get used to the touch interface. diamond is the first touch phone and i m more than happy with it.

i got an out of memory message in my diamond when i was taking a backup on my pc. Alarms bells started ringing then i searched the internal memory and found a complete backup of my phone which i took a month back or so worth 1.5gb lolz

guys, please try to post images as thumbnails. Pages with too many inline images take longer to load and cause inconvenience to low bandwidth users.
