  2. Quality Of Customer Care

seems reliance guys have become hyper active i received a call from a mumbai number 022 30333232 asking about my feedback wrt the service and usage. I told them i hv no issues. then that lady specified that my outgoing calls have reduced considerably and she wanted to know whether I was facing any issue with their network n service etc. I told her that was not the case but for my handset slider issue which was debarring me to make outgoing calls. then she took a sigh of relief. Seems junta is migrating to other networks and this latest initiative of calling customers n offering a personalised touch is to win back customers and/or prevent them from migrating.
  3. Help!horrible Problem With Nokia 6265

there's no way any normal non tech user like me can judge whether the strip is good or not unless it start giving problems again. also once if u know the source of the problem, then getting is repaired is not an issue coz u can confidently tell the repair wala of issue and ask him to repair/replace that part only. & thats y rimweb rawks coz members like u and others here keep sharing their experiences wrt issues, bugs and their remedies... as a result the chances of being fooled by these repair guys are truly minimized.

How does HTC do it? First it releases the first Google Android phone, the T-Mobile G1, and a week later it releases another touchscreen titan, the HTC Touch HD. It’s not out in shops until Thursday, but we’ve just got our hands on it two days early. Fancy some exclusive shots and first impressions? Read on! We’re pretty impressed by the box - it’s not as slim as the iPhone’s sure, but have you ever seen a piece of cardboard rock the Gothic look quite like this? Opening it up, we’ve got the money shot: the massive, 3.8 inch touchscreen Touch HD itself. It’s immense. Anything else after that is going to be a slight anti-climax, but a charger and USB cord are still essential out of the box - we don’t like those clunky earphones though. Ignore the European power cable - a UK one will be included, and while it’s missing from this preview handset, Orange assures us there’ll be an 8GB SDHC card to pop in and power up your media library. But enough talk: see for yourself in the gallery below. And if you want to know how the HTC Touch HD measures up to the latest touchscreen smartphones, check out our Stat Clash and see. source : http://www.electricpig.co.uk/2008/11/04/ht...uch-hd-unboxed/ Highlights @ http://www.htc.com/www/product/touchhd/overview.html 3.8-inch wide, WVGA (480 X 800 pixel) display offering a cinema experience on the go Vibrant TouchFLOTM 3D user interface, responding perfectly to your finger gestures when scrolling through contacts, browsing the web, and launching media Surf and download at broadband speed with HSDPA internet connectivity Google Maps enhanced by the wide screen viewing platform 5 megapixel camera for quality stills and video 3.5 mm audio jack makes the Touch HDTM compatible with the majority of audio equipment available Specifications @ http://www.htc.com/www/product/touchhd/specification.html Model HTC Touch HD™ T8282 Processor Qualcomm® MSM 7201A™ 528 MHz Operating System Windows Mobile® 6.1 Professional Memory ROM: 512 MB RAM: 288 MB Dimensions 115 mm x 62.8 mm x 12 mm (4.358 in x 2.4722 in x 0.47 in) Weight 147 grams (5.185 ounces) with battery Display 3.8-inch TFT-LCD flat touch-sensitive screen with 480 x 800 WVGA resolution Network HSDPA/WCDMA: * Europe/Asia: 900/2100 MHz * Up to 2 Mbps up-link and 7.2 Mbps down-link speeds Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE: * Europe/Asia: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz (Band frequency, HSUPA availability, and data speed are operator dependent.) cdma version ? Someone claiming to work in an HTC "repair/order/design" facility apparently decided to reveal quite a bit of information about some issues and development that the company is working on. The original PPCGeeks thread is now closed but WMExperts have a summary of some 50 pages of posts! One interesting revelation is that HTC is considering bringing a CDMA-variant of the HTC Touch HD to the U.S.. A prototype was built using parts from a CDMA HTC Diamond and re-flashing the ROM. Essentially, a new ROM was needed to address a number of issues, including both camera and GPS lags, and a control PAD malfunction. Other topics include an upcoming ROM update for the Sprint Diamond, confirmation that Verizon will offer a crippled HTC Touch Pro (slower processor and less memory), and more.
