  1. validity is one yr ,, in delhi 94 rs recharge
  2. Existing customers recharge with Rs.75(LAPU) New customers recharge with Rs.77(LAPU) The service will be available from tomorrow. Costly as compared to Aircel and Reliance
  3. Exactly airtel wants to retain its old customers rather than get new from other networks , anyway DOCOMO pressure has made them do it
  4. Aircel the fast growing Pan India telecom operator in the country, with presence in 18 circles and over 25 million subscribers, launched a very unique and consumer friendly product today, “NOW PAY PER SECOND”, in Delhi. In its endeavor to offer the best products and services to its Delhi subscribers Aircel introduces the tariff to any subscriber coming on Aircel network at, 1paise@1 second both on Local and STD calls making it a ‘Hungama-Offer’ i.e. the lowest rate possible at the lowest pulse possible. With per second pulse a subscriber will only pay for what he uses. It’s a complete value for money offer where in a subscriber making a call for 12 seconds will now only pay 12 paise and not Re 1. The New Aircel Lifetime connection will have a pulse for per second. Existing subscribers can also opt for ‘Pay per Second’, by sending an SMS, or calling 123 at no additional cost. Mr. Vipul Saurabh, National Head Operations and Customer Support, Aircel said, “Our endeavor is to introduce products and services uniquely tailored to meet the special needs of our Delhi consumers. This is one such step to reward high usage in a simple manner and is value for money”. International Calls will also be charged at Per second Pulse offering subscribers a huge bonanza. Mr. Rahul Saighal, CMO, Aircel added, “This offer to our consumers is in line with Aircel’s focus on Value and Simplicity” WAY TO GO AIRCEL ,

  7. TATA has also joined the game , in Celebration prepaid plan all calls local , std ,will be 60 p/min lifetime
  8. Then how can they reach their target of 20 Cr within 2012 they will have to increase their infrastructure which will cost them more hence their constraint to reduce tariffs
  9. airtel cannot take that risk because GSM network cannot handle the spectrum crunch , their network will be jammed

  20. @dkaile Dear Bro, In J&K, reliance CDMA has only 3 towers - One near railway stn(In jammu) and 2 at Gulmarg and Pehalgam (In srinagar). However, Reliance GSM has got excellent coverage across the state (even in small villages). Reliance is planning to launch its CDMA in full swing somtime in 2010-11. Tata Indicom is the only CDMA player. N Regarding Prepaid and postpaid, if u have a prepaid from other state, it won't work in J&K. Postpaid from other state does work. Currently J&K has Airtel, Aircel, vodafone, airtel, reliance(GSM), tata Indicom(CDMA). Idea is in the launching phase. BTW..........If anyone from our beloved forum is visiting J&K, call me @9205012719. I will surely help you with the arrangements (since m a local guy here) hi buddy what about BSNL network in ur state ??
  21. This is for which circle buddy ???
  22. Its 1 rs for 10 min for local and 3 rs for 10 min in STD call. Yes initially TATA will take some revenue loss but as they will get more subscribers they will recover slowly , but kudos to them for taking the gamble
