wonderful move by Reliance, Roaming @ 50ps ? but what about customer with lifetime jaadu pack, I mean 550 Jaadu pack, they still would be paying more..... any options for them ?

I still prefer 1 sec. billing coz why to pay more if the calls gets end with in a min or even if you talk for more than 1 min. say 1 min 10sec. you would charged accordingly. Hope TRAI should reduced termination charges & all the providers should come up with 1 sec. billing.

DOT or TRAI should react to this & it should be stopped. Although all the operators loot customers by some or the other way & now looting us for even getting SMS. this is ridiculous.

They should launch basic CDMA phones that are cheap like Reliance gives LG handsets starting @ Rs. 1500. Then they would have lots of sales for their mobile phones. Although this phone contains good features like camera & MP3, but still its too costly.

This is really a very good plan. Hope Reliance would come up with such plans in CDMA.
For R-R does this mean (RGSM to RCDMA also ) ?

i think reliance in this MATTER is best... providing unlimited 24 Hrs rim to rim free local and STD.. .. Hats off ! To Reliance.
No Other Operator In India Has Guts To Introduce Such Plans With Huge Level across india...... even AIRTEL very old player in this field is not introducing such plans.. I absolutely agree with you ayaz_cool. I thought there would be other providers providing unlimited STD. But nobody other than Reliance & TATA. Airtel, Vodafone even though they have presence almost all over India, are not providing such plans, what a shame on them.

So only RCOM provides unlimited STD calls with better tariffs then any other service providers does ? I think Aircel has unlimited local calls & not the STD, not sure. If anybody is aware of tariffs from any other operators for unlimited STD please post the plan details.

Thought this would help everybody hence starting new topic. Is anybody aware of any other service provider other than Reliance which provides unlimited calls to its own network as Reliance does ? If someone knows such plans from any service providers please share the plan details may it be postpaid or prepaid. Do we also have any such type of plans for SMS as well ?

I hate to say this, but I am absolutely unhappy with Reliance COmmunications discriminating between their CDMA subscribers and GSM subscribers.Agreed that RGSM is a new network and requires special care and innovative schemes for survival,, but I am not happy with the fact that RCDMA has been lagging in terms of tariffs and offers when compared to GSM.
It is really pathetic that tere is no national sms offer on RCDMA so far.
If Reliance thinks that all RCDMA customers will choose RGSM by default once MNP is effected in, then they better be prepared for the worst.
What can we expect from a company which does not believe in its own customers and who knows tomorrow they might chuck the GSM customers for a better technology in the future!!!!!!!!!!!
yes i agree with vinayankpai. All the sms packs are for CDMA postpaid connection. No such packs are available for CDMA prepaid users. This is really bad part on Reliance. They are not looking at all on the prepaid customers. Even Idea, Aircel have sms scheme for prepaid users, but not Reliance..

So you mean to say if we activate Simple Plan on Reliance prepaid, can we later activate STD R2R free plan for Rs.999 with validity of 30 days & during that 30 days validity R2R recharge tariff will be applicable. After that again Simple plan tariff ???
