Wonderful move by Aircel, I hope that Aircel would provide good tariffs like they do provide in South. Aircel has good plans for Bangalore, same should be launched for Mumbai as well. If these happens then Reliance GSM would go for a toss.

i agree with all you guys, Reliance is too costly for internet & SMS, especially for National SMS. Spice in Bangalore use to provide 3000 local SMS for just Rs. 30 per month where as Reliance is providing 400 SMS for Rs. 30 or Rs. 40 per month. See the difference in nos.

hope this offer would be made available to all the circles... but if it is till 28th Feb. then not good...all the offers should last for atleast 6 months....

Wonderful article. I extremely agree with sachinrocks, but cc of Reliance is becoming worst day by day. So if they wont take a look on that , they would surely loss customers when number portability would be launched. Then they would have hard time to find any...See the way CC of Vodafone has improved even Airtel is also not behind.....getting customers by good scheme is different & retaining them by good service i think is more important.

So if I recharge with Rs. 650 STD calling card, then calls to R CDMA & R GSM would be free between 11 pm to 6 am all over India ?? What about Mumbai circle ? Can we make free calls to R GSM from R CDMA ?

thats really good news, but website is not showing details for mumbai circle. Would need to visit the web world & find the details. But I think STD are too costly @ Rs. 1.50 /- ....hope would have some top-up cards that would help reduce it.
Friends if anyone gets more details on tariffs for mumbai circle please update the post.

this is really great news man, but still waiting for such offers in mumbai. Hope Reliance (gsm) would launch the same offer for all the circles. I agree with "vvinayakpai" . Reliance is trend setter & lets see what new trends are set by Reliance in gsm. Hope this would increase competition & the call rates would get reduced.

Yes the offer is true. But I dont know whether it is valid till today. I had called CC, they told me that 2 months validity is limited period offer, if you recharge before 31 august 2008 then you will get 2 months validity or else 1 month. Also they are offering the same for Rs. 525 card in which you get around Rs. 467 talktime. Call charges are 40p/min at night between 11 pm to 6 am to any phone & Re. 1 during the whole day. I am using this card its good. But as mentioned earlier I had recharged before 31 august 2008, so I got 2 months validity.
The retailers has got a chart In which all the details are available.

The same thing happens with me also. When I post the reply I am not able to see it immediately. When I login the next day I able to see my reply.

I completely agree with u all. Reliance has the worst customer care. whenever u call them & u tell them take down my complaint at that time they will give u such stupid reason that server is not working, my system is down. But when u call them & give your details at that time they would take details from you & check for the same in their system but as soon as you tell them to take complaint they start fooling you.
I dont understand what TRAI and our government is doing as majority of the customers are facing this problem with their respective service providers. There should be some higher authority who would help we customer against the injustice done by the service providers & help us & get the issue resolved.

I truly agree Reliance has the worst customer care of all. What you can do is put a mail to customercare@relianceada.com & serviceassurancecell@relianceada.com & wait for the response from them. They too will take sometime, but you mention all the complaints nos. in the mail & write a very harsh mail.
I hope this could help you. We customer dont have any option except to either wait for the problem to get resolved or simply discontinue the service.

They are just interested in increasing there subscriber base but who is caring for the customer. They just want to add customer but they are not interested in solving there problems.

My dear friend if both the above sms re-charge option are for local sms, then does reliance has any scheme for national sms ?
TATA Indicom has launch a new scheme for new prepaid connection. Scheme details are:
3 years incoming validity is the scheme for amount Rs. 299 appr.
local T2T 20p in the day & 10p in the night
STD Rs.2 in the day & Rs.1 in the night
SMS local & national 20p in the day & 10p in the night.
Anybody having for info for the above scheme please do post your view.

Hi all,
I am prepaid mobile user. I need some details on SMS packs. I need to send national sms. I called cc but as usual they are not able to resolve the query. they told me they have Rs.10 & Rs. 49 sms packs which provides 30 & 250 sms respectively free with validity of 1 month. CC told it can be used for local & national both. But when I saw on the reliance website its showing only local sms. Then i went for re-charge the dealer told it is for local only.
So can anyone please provide me the sms packs available for using for national sms.
