  1. hi Guys,

Yesterday, I had generated UPC code from my Idea pre-paid number & have generated bar code from myjio app.

Visited reliance digital store & have done e-kyc. Store guy asked me to pay Rs.408.

I contacted idea today & they say they have not received any request from the recipient operator yet.

Is there any other way we can track the MNP process & whom should I contact now ?

I think what vishalmcp is trying to ask is that he has initially taken prime membership and 1st recharge done was for 149.

Now if he recharges for 303, will he also be eligible for the Summer surprise offer, because Jio says that only 99 + 1st recharge of 303 are eligible.

    Am I correct??

@ashishsethi yes, you are correct. I have taken prime membership (99) & have done 3 recharges of Rs. 149.

As per reply @tech.ba & @LTE4G, I think if I recharage with 303 now (even though my first recharge is of 149), I should be eligible for summer surprise offer.

Please correct me, if I am wrong.

There is no info available on jio.com :(

  3. Can anybody please tell me what will happen to someone who has opted for prime membership (99) + has done mulitple 149 recharges before 31st March.

Will they be getting summer surprise offer by doing a recharge of Rs.303 or they are no longer eligible ?

If by doing Rs. 303 recharge, they are eligible for summer surprise offer, then how the recharges will be applied after June. I was unable to find any info on summer surprise offer on jio.com :(

    Thank you in advance.

^^^ Which handset you are using ?

Mine is Micromax colours A120. I know its not 4G handset. I inserted sim in one of my friend who has Samsung J5, but it was only showing E & that too network was fluctuating a lot.

Visited nearest Reliance store, they did software upgrade on the SIM, but still the same issue. still showing E.

Also, store guy told, 4G will start on 20th June, till then only 2G. Also he told Rcom has either 2G or 4G there is no 3G.

  6. This is going to be a long post, read at your risk. There are certain rules one need to follow while investing: 1) What is the purpose of investment? 2) After what period will the money be required? 3) Is current income stable? 4) Are there any short term liabilities? After answering the above questions one need to start the investment plan. As different people will have different needs we cannot say which is the best investment option. 1) Stock Market : People who invest in stock market directly need to be aware of all activities around the market, sectors and the stock. This is becoming quit difficult as no of factors are increasing all the time. Even if you invest make sure you invest in good companies which good business. NEVER BUY STOCK CAUSE SOMEONE ELSE BOUGHT IT 2) Mutual Fund: This is the best alternative for people who want to get stock market benefit with there returns. A mutual fund is run by a fund manager who manages the fund and normally have good market knowledge. So before investing invest in funds with Good track records. SIP for a period of 3-4 years is said to be a very good investment. Also there will be no tax after one year investment. 3) FD's : This the safest investment. But it bank FD's gave -ve return in 2010 and returns have turned just +ve in 2011 as interest rates have increased in past few months. Also one need to pay tax on the interest income earned. Other alternative with a bit of risk is to invest in FD's issues buy different company's to rise the funds. Normally the fixed returns are better then bank FD's. One need to be very sure that the company which is issuing FD is a stable company and with stable growth. 4) Bullion : The asset class which has provided the maximum return on investment in last few years. There is lot of debate around the word if the same will be sustainable going forward also. There is no clear view on this till now. There is lot of speculative positions that have build in commodities around the world which many experts are calling it a bubble. Like Silver jumped to 75K and returned to 50K in 1 one week which is huge for a large traded commodity worldwide. People may argue that this can also happen in stock market but we need to understand the commodity prices are similar around the world while in stock market PE ratios are very much different. @DL send me the investment details and let me check if we can make some more loss/profit :winko: . *** Markets will be volatile till mid of August, be causes of investing and trading till then (If any of the European countries defaults then be ready for a shock).

a very well said & detailed explanation......

same with me too.... i started investing in mid sept last year where index was at 21000 & since after that all my figures are in negative.... :( :( ;(

  7. :previous:

+1 for your courage and efforts... This rude behaviour will kill RCom for sure... It seems RCom has now some policy like "FIX a target to Deduct some balance like Rs30 to Rs50 to some lakhs/million of customers a month... If they complaint till PG portal, return the looted amount, else if the customer gets tired and stopped by running around in circles (almost 99.9999% cases) then we get few crores of daylight-robbery per month easily...

All the idea is greatly planned and will be successful for sure... But what they forgot is "THE TIRED CUSTOMERS will surely damage their reputation via speech anti-marketing and will surely blocking their progress in whatever way they can, say like stopping their friends/relatives from getting RCom connections"...

All these money_minded-greedy-corporates forgot that "A satisfied customer may bring two new leads max... But a HURTED-CUSTOMER will definitely block their TEN new/potential customers from reaching them MINIMUM"

Exactly..... Reliance should think on it.... instead of cheating customers they should come up with cheaper & better offers....

but if all these things continue they would soon loss their customer base count in huge number as MNP is already in place......

  8. guys... i was also the victim of these types of mal practices by Reliance.... Call CC & launch complaint against the activation of the pack without concern & also for refund.... wait for 48 hrs.... if the issue is still not resolved, send email to serviceassurancecell@relianceada.com mentioning the same....wait for again 2-3 days.... even after tht no reply, then send email to nodalofficer.....

Finally if u dont get any reply from these peoples or the issue is not resolved.... launch complaint online on PGP forum... refer the below thread for more details :

I know guys the above process is time consuming & very slow.... but as a customer, we are only left with these options.... but at least lodging complaint at the pgp portal i got my money refunded after one month.....

  9. I too had a good experience with the portal. Got my money back from Reliance which where taken by unfair means for VAS pack activation.

I had send many emails to serviceassuranecell & customercare they denied it, Then had sent to nodal officer no reply from them. Then submitted request to portal after almost a month & within ten days got money credited to the account balance.

Good to see that we still have some authority to look after customers which are harassed by the service providers......

  10. hmmm.... I agree with you all.... but ultimately we the customers are suffering... as you have mentioned other operators also do the same thing as done by RELIANCE.... they too take our hard earned money...... then no sense of using MNP & switching to other operator......

There should be some authority above all these operators to take care of customers harassed by them......
