  1. Source : Undisclosed

Simply Unlimited is now TRULY Unlimited ....

Onnet cap of 2700 mins has been removed and the product is truly unlimited now.

this benefit shall extend to all the customers currently on Local 299 & National 599 Pack.

This shall be effective from 00 hrs of 5th May.

dude r u sure ???? can u provide the source ??? can anybody please confirm it....

  2. :previous: Well this is totally expected from Reliance.. I do have this feeling that Reliance like in case of SMS packs would also modify the charges in this plan once it gains popularity..

Anyways, even with the current cost structure, reliance is indeed making money on this plan..

Here what I can make of..

OFFNET : On off-net calls, reliance is giving 900 mins. for an amout of Rs.299. That comes out to Re 0.33p/ min.. now even if 20p/min Interconnect charge is deducted, reliance is still making 13p/min on this tariff.. :NOTriste:

Now the best part comes here, considering that the user does not make 30 mins/day.. Reliance share of per call charge increase at a very rapid pace.. :Equivocado:

For e.g a user uses just 25 mins/day, thereby leaving 5 mins./day which comes out to 150 mins./month. Now out of the 900 mins, if 150 mins is reduced, on the balance 750 mins, reliance would get a revenue of 39p/min which translates to 19p/min after IUC..

So, I must say, the people at reliance who have designed this plan have been pretty smart on making the finer details of this plan.  The company is in every way going to make a profit of 13p/min atleast with chances of huge upside depending from user to user..

ON-NET : On the on-net front, even if the cap of 2700 mins is taken into consideration, the company is still making huge money on this plan.. at 2700 mins for Rs.299, the per call comes to around 11p/min on a call for which the company does not have to pay nething to neone else ( IUC)

Reliance has indeed come out with a very smart plan which would really help the company more in terms of revenue & profits.. :Chulo:

dont see it from reliance side, they are obviouly here to make profit, no body can provide you service at loss.

but see it from customers' point of view, previosly we were getting r2r std free in 999 (though there is no cap) and 1500 r2r min in 490, but now in 599 we can get 2700 r2r + 900 offnet mins.

Means about 16.64 paise per min for std.

I think this is one of the best tariff in India and it is upto us if we can utilize it properly

    @ pk daga ji

I dont think this plan will be coming in postpaid, because they launch any scheme simultaneously in pre and post like simple plans. they have not launch this plan in postpaid alongwith prepaid, there is very less probability of coming this plan in postpaid.

I agree with you dude, STD only for 16.64 paise per min....

Two different links to the same page. Misguiding customers.......

The second link says a limit on ON-net calls of 2700 mins. So its not truly unlimited...

Below link says On-net calls limited to 3000 mins....

    Confusing customers...... thats bad......

  4. Three cheers to Reliance for this initiative!!!!!!!!!

I dont remember Airtel coming out with any such kind of an initiative during their 100 million customer celebrations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Airtel and offers?!?! Both those words don't go together. I don't recall them giving a single offer or freebie in the period where I was one of their reluctant and unfortunate customer... GirandoOjos.gif

I agree with you friend, Airtel s**ks....... no offer, no good tariffs like Reliance, all costly plans......

  5. Congrats RCOM

can we old users have our gifts for making RCOM cross this milestone. :Contento:

    Just some calculation...

    RCOM was launched on 22.12.2002

    Till Feb'10 it completed 8 years+2 months=98 months.

So average subscriber addition for that period = 1.02 million :(

    Now some future prediction...

Aims 100 million more subscribers in 1000 days(33.33 months)

Target future monthly additions = 3 million!!

Last month addition was at 2.8 million(?) :P

    wonderful calculation....

    &

    congrats RCOM...
