I bought a I-tech from ebay for Rs.1900 and I have been using for the last one year and works very good.

[Presently it is not possible to C5000(virgin mobile). I think they have upgraded the software. I personally checked and unable to unlock it.

No it is not possible to use REliance Sim. Unless we switch off min for that purpose we require code. I request fellow members to provide code if they know. Thanks

Could any body help me in getting my Indicom haier phone to use for Virgin. I think virgin is also Tata Service. But when I inserted the virgin sim in Haier phone it says it is invalid sim. Please help to overcome this problem. Thanks in advance. nellorian

Absolutely the plan is costly and it may be useful for high user only.

When service provides are robbing the innocent prepaid customers i.e., activation of love tips and unnecessary charges I think there is no fault on the part of subscriber to do this type of tricks. First teach the lesson to the BIG ROBBERS and then advice the same to the subscribers. You have been seeing lot of complaints from the subscribers. If at all if the robbers find that they are being cheated they are having technology to stop and cut the service. When the subscribers are being robbed where they have to go. Courts are very costly and it is not possible for small prepaid customers to go to Courts.

It is not suggestable to Buy from Reliance WW, since several restrictions were embedded in the phone. If we buy from outside we can use on any one of the CDMA network.

There is only one phoneSamsung SCHW-339 (NT-2 World Phone) [DUO] to my knowledge where we can use 2 cdma networks or 2 gsm networks. This phone is being sold by tata indicom for Rs.5999=00 with 1800 free minutes(as per the tata indicom website). But in the website nowhere it is mentioned that we can for 2cdma networks. I have searched the web and I came to know that we can use 2 cdma after making open cdma. Now a days we can make it as open cdma

The tariffs are almost similar with CDMA. Onnet package from GSM to CDMA costing Rs.100 (as per www.reliancemobile.com). Handsets also classic. We can not expect much in GSM segment from Reliance. They have not learnt any lessons from the other operators. (The best tariff from the latest entrants is Shyam Rainbow. The tariffs on the website shows almost similar to CDMA.

Treo 755P is better when we comapare with the price of LG9800

As per Business Line, Syam Tele also started CDMA services in Rajasthan and it is offering ALL LOCAL CALLS and SMS @0.50 under Rainbow Trademark. May be the lowest among all service providers in the Country.

Only one phone that works with 2 CDMA CONNECTIONS is Samsung Duo( as per their website) but in practice I tried the same with one Tata and one Reliance it is not working. It appears that the phone is locked to Tata indicom only. Now tata website is offering for Rs.5999. only.If any members knows how to modify the phone for the two CDMA LIVE connection Please guide us.

You can see the MSI wind. In youtube comparison amoung Aspire one, Eeepc and Msi wind is there. After seeing that I prefer MSI wind.

This type problems are normal in ICICI BANK. The bank never care for the customer and their practices are always infavour of the bank. You should not spare the bank. You file a complaint before the Ditrict Consumer Redressal Forum at Place and claim for damages for mental agony due wrong billing. After the amount is credited in your account, you issue a notice to the bank claiming damages for your mental agony and if your grievance is not redressed you can write to the Ombudsman (the procedure is given in RBI WEBSITE). OR you can file a complaint before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal forum for damages.

This comes under Consumer Protection Act and also comes under UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICE. The options let open to you is 1. to file a complaint giving full particulars about the web page which makes you to purchase the handset and not crediting the free talk time. You can also pray for damages for wrongful advertisement and mental agony also. Be clear and it should understandable to the presiding officer of the Consumer Forum and it's members. Most of the cases are defeated for non mentioning of the facts clearly. You can also send a petition to MRTP Commission.
