I am having two reliance modems with SME unlimited 999 plan. Just called CC & migrated both nos to RNC unlimted 600 plan. as per CC (confirned twice) RNC ULTD 600 too has unlimted usage in GB ... so looks like plan is applicable modems/data cards also

This monday morning i found that neither incoming/ouitgoing of my no was working After inquiring with CC, i was told to contact Nodal officer at Pune Calls to Nodal Office (after several tries) revealed the following: the number was suspended as someone (DND number) had complained that a UCC was made from my number to his DND number Even after explaining that I am in no way doing any tele markeing and that only a sms was sent to the said number as it was similar to that of one of my clients number (purely typo). IS it legal on the company's part to do so without informing me or even giving me any notice or asking for any explanation? the guys at nodal officer claim that Trai (!!) had decativated the number but refuse to give me anything in writing - asking me to wait for few days if (and if at all), i have violated UCC regulations, this is the 1st instance in a high handed way the company has concluded me to be wrong even without bothering to check my side of the story pls advice how do i proceed legally in this matter tia

This is STANDARD idea tactic - Using idea ever since launch in maharashtra - it has even withdrawn/modified schemes after offering so this is nothing. - it is the MOST UNRELIABLE operator. Not to use IDEA is BEST IDEA Waiting for Number Portablility ....

I am a heavy sms user (>50000 sms per day - repeat 50,000 - using 10+ phones) but in last 2 years, i have NEVER got a single complaint from anyone that the sms are delivered to wrong nos. Technically also, this seems unlikely.

I believe reservations are must. I am from upper caste and I got into IIT despite reservations Those who oppose reservations must just think that less no of seats are available and they need to prove their merit accordingly. the merit system is not without flaws - for example one bad day (say if you are ill on exam day) and you are out! and democracy by defination means rule by numbers not merit!!
