The user ID& password for EVDO is also your number. Same is working when I connect the modem. reliance EVDO card.rar

I bought ZTE AC2726. Read its E*N & M*N details using CDMA workshop. Copied this to my mogul. Copied the EVDO PRL also. I created a new connection using the rim number as user id & password. When it connects to internet, it gives a error for evdo and asks for checking setting. Then it falls to CDMA1x & works. I though by doing so I will be able to use mogul with EVDO & can use it only for internet and as a wifi router.( as voice & sms is blocked) any suggestions ?

Even after Techies here are able to configure the handset for EVDO, service need to be activated by Reliance back office. That will only happen if Reliance starts offering EVDO by default to all customers & not based on handsets.

Dhiraj, I have tried this. But it doesn't serve any purpose. voice is normal with evdo. During data it goes back to 1X. Even during internet sharing & with WMWIFI Router its goes back to 1X. You get these results if u r using opera, operamini or skyfire etc, these browsers compress the data. If you find any advantage of using EVDO PRL please let us know

Yes Thanks Tanveer, now I am also able to get internet without proxy. This means no data charges (NUC may still apply) Looks like Dheeraj's mail has worked.

I think L-1 or L-4 plans with default Data plan is the best bets. Its NUC which is making it expensive. So If your are on L-1 or L-4, NUC shall not be charged. You will only be charged for data download @0.50/MB. (my guess only, I need to confirm) Under mobile internet status it is showing usage of 2296807. (hopefully in bytes)

Gmail working via active sync route. It was giving error while sync. I removed tasks from sync option, its working perfectly now. Opera Mini is working through http (default was socks, as we donnot know the port number for pproxy, it was not working) I am on L4 plan does it mean I will be charged only 50 p /MB & no NUC ?

There is option for incoming connection with xp & vista. Once activated on host computer you can connect two computers over VPN with PPTS protocol which is secured also.
