dear hp please check this error and one more thing we cannot send sms to special numbers (eg 7878, 121 etc) and international numbers as the minimum and max limit for number is 10 digits

whoever wants to waste his/her money should go in for a an I-phone and stay with out any music and video for many days to come. and do not do any thing but receive and send calls which can be done on a 800 rupees phone. i compare it to any rupees 800 phone in the market just one thing extra is the big screen. any other use i do not see of the I-Phone

Thomas `Wait until Govt spells out 3G policy' New Delhi , May 24 The Department of Telecom has asked Tata Teleservices to delay the launch of data services based on the EVDO (evolution data optimised) technology until the Government spells out the policy for third generation (3G) services. Mr Daryl Green, Chief Executive Officer, Tata Teleservices, told Business Line that though the company was ready to offer 3G services it did not have the permission to even conduct pilot tests. "We have been told verbally to put off our launch of EVDO services till later this year. If we get the permission we can start services tomorrow. We can offer 3G services using the existing spectrum but DoT feels that the 800 Mhz is a 2 G radio frequency and therefore we should wait till the 3G spectrum is released." EVDO is the next generation technology being offered by CDMA-based operators in other parts of the world to offer high speed broadband on wireless handsets. The technology allows operators to use the existing radio frequency to offer 3G services. On the other hand, GSM-based operators need spectrum that has been earmarked for 3G services. In India, Reliance Infocomm is also making plans to roll out EVDO services. If Tatas are allowed to deploy EVDO, it would get at least a six-month head start compared with GSM-based operators. However, Mr Green downplayed the impact of the delay. "3G is not really big as of now for us, so we can wait. Even if were to launch services after the DoT nod, still we will get a head start because GSM operators will take a while to roll out their network based on the Wide band CDMA (W-CDMA), and in my experience, it's not going to be very easy for them," said Mr Green. Tata Teleservices has earmarked an investment of Rs 4,000 crore this fiscal and has set a target of reaching 20 million subscribers by the end of this fiscal. Meanwhile, the Government today said that spectrum for 3G services would be released by the end of the year. The telecom regulator has also been asked to give its recommendations on issues relating to pricing for the 3G spectrum.

Dear friends, I need your help in choosing a new mobile connection. In Nasik Maharashtra currently i have 2 connections 1 Airtel prepaid (Friends card) 1 TATA postpaid (Business silver) I have 2 main requirements 1. High STD usage. 400-500 minutes / month 2. High STD SMS usage 1000-2500 / month my local calls are almost 20-30 rupees so that's not a concern Although TATA is giving me both the things but they are not increasing my Credit Limit and i have to pay my bills atlest twice a month and many a times 3 times and then they give me a refund on my next bill. Every month same problem. My scheme with tata is std 1 rupee / minute and 3000 sms addon packs. Min rent 244 rupees cli free call forwarding free So please help.

Thanks for your Help KHS & ICU I tried to call them they are asking for a deposit of rs. 1500/- is it ok? my monthly bill never exceeds 800/- rupees. 1. TATA adds all my usage as per my plan. then reduces as per my addon plan, which is causing all the confusion. they charge for all my STD calls at 2.65 then reduce it at 1 rupee at the time of billing and sms at 1 & 2 rupees and then make them free. then they ask for interim bill. I wanted to change the Service Provider as the TATA people are so dumb they change any thing on my plan without my knowledge and then give me refunds on all there mistakes it is a monthly phenominon. as soon as the bill arives on my e-mail i grab a calculator and calculate there mistakes. fight the call center guy for atleast an hour. go to there public office and get a refund.

i uninstalled all the old versions and now the software is working like a charm thanks to u HPNasik. I have fed all my friends birthdays and anniversaries on the SMS server and it is sending them messages and they themselves are calling me to say thanks for remembering them. Thanks again HPNasik

i am positive that i have installed ver 2 please tell how to send the remaining messages as there are no error message they are just left at sending and after that nothing happens. then i have to queue all the messages again save then browse and load the HPSMS.mdb file again. Else the server works perfectly i am using cable too

No viruses on 6275 as yet

We can use 2 cabled headsets on the phone at the same time. using it as a walkman is not a very good idea but only if u have spare charged battery. as with one battery u can use the phone only for 6-7 hours. But i liked this facility much as two people can hear stereophonic music with two headsets and not monophonic with single headset.

Please compare Business Gold and Business Silver plans on http://www.tataindicom.com/personal/mobile...aid_tariffs.asp I do not think Reliance can ever match these tarrifs.

mdac_typ installed Widecomm 5.0.8 installed date changed to DD/MM/YYYY Queue was not visible till i changed the date format from mm/dd/yy now to dd/mm/yyyy it is now visible. Every thing working smoothly thanks for your help HPNasik. will disturb you more if i need more help
