there is actually nothing wrong with it but then it is factually not possible. They will not respond to such a request. and if you have to consider mods and admins they i might just remind you here that being a mod is not a full time profession. guys are working at their own business or profession and in the mean time as they can get they do this duty. Admins are also in a similar situation. If at all this is to be considered then it will be in a situation where rimweb has been taken over by RCom and getting monitored heavily. Right, they aren't even going to respond to such a request. what we are trying to do is make the system work without changing it inside out. It has worked wonders for most of them. We can exploit the handset features and get support from the actual users... doing R&D. I will not get into the legality issue here.( but still it has been pronounced very clearly in various threads that rimweb does not subscribe to hacking for commercial benefit, into any software or hardware. What is promoted is either a trial, free, evaluation version not otherwise..)

its a nice test. nut it did not tell me something i did not know (and i dont know many things for linux) the packages or the programs are the similar ones.. only the background color and other things vary.. evolution is packages as well as firefox 3 with opensuse as well as ubuntu, yet to check with mandriva.. so whats the difference. Any benefits to buy the versions that are available freely? or is there something special in these paid versions.. I have tried ubuntu, and thats okay.. i would like to try other , opensuse and mandriva..

handsfree will be a cheaper option. as the handset has already been purchased... bluetooth could be a upgrade option after some time...i.e. handset and the bluetooth headset..

sabse pehle to battery nikal lo, then take it to the nokia service center. ofcourse they do not guarrantee a prompt service but then they also do not guarrantee that the data stored will be as it is or the handset wilbe in working ondition at the time of return... they dont guarrantee anything. so if they are asking for too much to repair/ service then the other option could be to look for a better replacement. wish you all the best.

red bus is really a nice service. in fact i had recommended this service to my friend who later got back to me saying that it was a real nice experience and a cost effective one too as bus provider he had approched were charging more... for the same from and to points.. red bus is a facilitaor only but the end result was good.

hathway has launched its services in lower parel, mumbai area and for the new market they have introduced this plan..prepaid... 2Gb data transfer at 512Kbps valid for 2 months through cable.. i will be exhausting it in the first month only but the plan seems good enough....compared to mtnl.. and yes no modem deposit or registration charges..makes it more attractive..

it seems there was some problem with the signal strength. it's suppposed to be checked at the time of installation but these guys missed out on that. now some guy, i talked to in hathway was surprised whn he checked the signal from backend and found it less than half of what it is supposed to be. now i am getting speed from 300bps to 50kbps... earlier it was limited to below 20kbps..

Point noted. 999 is only for prepaid data cards.

both are out of budget of 3k to 5k. may be some other brand will have to be considered in that price range.
