there is a PC with minimum config available for approx 4k.. its i guess ...termed as Intel PC...ofcourse the price differs for various add ons and all...

i have sounded out reliance and airtel for a broadband connection.. even it does not help that the airtel corporate office is nearby.. the connection is not available beyond that point.. BSNL is not available.. MTNL speeds are very jumpy from ****bps to 110Kbps... i think there is no harm with hathway as i dont need to pay any registration charge as well as modem deposit as such. but i wish to go for the prepid plan that entails me to pay approx 618/- for two months data usage of 2GB....incl. taxes. in one of the other threads Sify..gave out an impression of not so good service.. and if i am not wrong even that is not possible in this area..

may be thats true but the introduction was given as for the first time in this area... kind of.. but then again can you tell me whats the experience like of hathway here in this area?! if your friend has shared it with you..

Arun, you are right... there is apearantly no connection.

I will anytime go for ACi nanobook simply because i can not work with a 8GB HDD. its not an advantage to have a flash HDD with so less memory at the price i will be getting a 40GB nanobook. Who knows till the product is launched..the RAM will get upgraded to 1GB and HDD to 80GB from ACi for its basic model....

Just got the information that you will get a dedicated/static IP if you opt for a postpaid connection. it must be for higher downloads.. heavy users and not for basic users...

6100 does not have a modem, for that matter even 3600 so for me its a false bait... for other features..phone book memory is okay....

if you wish to link cracked versions of those software who usually/ normally require a purchased key to unlock, then it may not be permitted. if it is for free ..to distribute and use then ther will be no objection.

I have found it to be good in parts... its realy pathetic in my part of town here inmumbai as well as nagpur.. call drops areso regular that if it doesnt happen any single day then i feel like calling the CC and asking them if everything is allright.

reliance is good in parts as also the others ..no particular operator can claim total coverage in india at all the places... especially as the total network ad shows..in desert...and all....

there are severalavailable in the market under the brand name of LG, Nokia and motorola.. Pl. check the threads of those particular handsets for details and prices.. it seems new lg handset could be a good buy.
