“We are in the midst of many expansions. These are in different industries, with different interests. We are crossing many bridges,” he says vaguely. Alluding to the controversy surrounding him, he says, “Whenever we cross one bridge, there is lots of friction.” Quote from the Article. this is the way Ambanis work.. It doesnt matter they have permission to cross the bridge or not but they will create a bridge if there is none and cross it. If some contoversy arises then they will ask for the permission so that everything gets 'legal'. They plan big.. BIG...BIGGER with MDA in charge..execute it.. permissions and sanctions can be taken any time....after the completion. (remember digging for the purpose of laying optical fiber network.. it was completed even before it came to anybodys notice..) Now coming to the COMMENTS under the article posted by users.. Posted: Oct 16 2007 11:11pm ET Whats the point of this article. Mukesh Ambani's over paid publicity guys called conde nast to do this article on him. The guy has created a culture of corruption in India. If india ever wants to be a transparent, bribe free, economic super power of the world, guys like these need to be set straight. He continues to bribe every political party, and goverment dept to monopolize infrastructure contracts. Its practically no bid contests. If India wants to be anything like China, Japan, Europe, you need to promote Indian corporations like Infosys and Wipro and Suzlon. Not this meglomaniac one man ego building binge. Akhand Bharat. they both look similar specs wise. the only diff is FM. Both cannot be used for internet. Its a good thing that it is T sim... its not yet available on ichoose, so the price can not be ascertained. battery seems to be okay for the entry level handset.. the 'good' part can only be told by people who have tried their hand on it. Guys anybody here.....

i believe it is possible, but requires encrypted connection, dedicated IP and more.. seconly if the machine changes then again everything has to be set up again.. or if the IP changes then it wont recognise the user.. it costly, so the best way is to get a security certificae for your website and go for email and password verification... the particular thing where yu have to enter the number/ alphabates should aslo be incorporated...

LONDON: Vodafone on Sunday attributed an 8.5 per cent rise in its share price to positive projections made by its European rival Telefonica, while scoffing at reports that stocks soared because its CEO Arun Sarin was leaving. "I cannot comment on the existence of any rumours, but no one is taking the suggestion that Sarin has resigned seriously, because it is totally incorrect" a Vodafone spokesperson said. The UK media was rife with speculation that India-born Sarin, who engineered the world's largest telecom company's entry into India this spring, had quit. The Telegraph in one of its market analysis reports on October 12, said that "it was a good day for shareholders of telecom giant Vodafone but a bad one for chief executive Arun Sarin. "The stock rose 8.5 pence to 179.5 pence on the back of market rumours that Sarin, whose strategy has been criticised in some quarters, might have decided to resign". The Vodafone spokesperson, however, said: "Telefonica's shares rose 7 per cent on Thursday, Vodafone's shares were also up reflecting investors views on the sector... Nobody has suggested that this is in any way related to issues against Sarin." Market commentators have suggested that the share prices went up because Telefonica held an investor day on Thursday and gave a positive view on their prospects in the European marketplace, the spokesperson added. Shares of Vodafone on FTSE 100, the benchmark index of the London Stock Exchange, grew to 179.5 pence on October 11 from 171 pence the previous day. It remained flat on Friday. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Busines...how/2457330.cms what more do we need to say?

Vodafone Launch Handset At 1199/-
copperco2 replied to copperco2's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
vodafone .. is trying his international experience here.. but then with some unexplained departures from one of the best growing markets must have taught it some good lessons. i recall reading in the 2004 (don't remember the month) economist issue that vodafone had to exit the South African market, without a valid... as perceived by the market analyst, reason. well considering that we tend to improvise on an improvised thing.. we need to be handled more sensitively...... price need not be the only tipping point for us... -
D L F, Indiabulls And Many Others Intend To Enter Into Telecom Sector
copperco2 replied to Arun's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
in the case of indiabulls, i see a total lack of business plan regarding their focus areas. Some time back it got into real estate developement too, that was sheer due to excessive money available to them and perceived in the profits... the same way they are getting into telecom... -

I am planning to start a marketing campaign for my recruitment business as well as the other one. I am looking for a very very cost effective- more bang for my buck mix. while i have the quotes for print advt., i dont have the same for Email marketing or any other online marketing tool. the same goes for Satellite channels- regional as well as national, doordarshan and all and local cable channels. can any of the guys help me with the right mix. if you have rates too, for information, that would certainly help.

yes. if you choose to terminate the service then the balance amount after deduction of usage charges and all will be refunded back to you within 45 days of termination. if you do not terminate then it wil get settled with your bills.. may not not be in the single bill as such but surely will happen.....

New Mobile License With Lock In Period!
copperco2 replied to Himanshu Singh's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
its also better for upcoming players as what they have do is invest money, raise the infrastructure and make sure that they have some market share over the years. as and when they sell, the price will vary depending on the market share and the network.. capacity.
