MTNL is giving me much problems..regardring the speed, i have some things going on for which i cannot afford to have connection reset from time to time.., also page unable to display..etc.. even with all the lights glowing on the modem..its quite frustrating.. so i want a backup. I will either make broadnet a backup or make it default. lets see how things work out..

google or any other website for that matter, even sometimes if i have to load this page in rimweb the ads by google, the image, instead of it i can see..connection was reset. the fun thing is i can see the rest of the page quite welll, only that particular patch has the problem. if i reload it then the problem goes away..again to come some other time.

i have just updated mozilla to the latest version. it waits for the pagead2.googlesyndication.com while loading page. that makes it take much more time than it should take.. why is that so. is that a problem with the browser? should i roll back to the previous version? do let me know..

BSNL is not available in Mumbai and seeing the brilliant response about Sify..i have got thinking about reliance broadnet.The plans seem better than MTNL and in line with you tele. the unlimited plans have data cap during the day..yes. true.

Kunal is right. both the technologies differ so much that one handset you like may not work for the service provider you want to take connection from... do some homework..before you buy the handset and we will certainly suggest you good ones in your budget.. Pocket PC is okay but then these are also availbale in both the technology platforms i.e. CDMA and GSM

this is being done only for his ventures..just like GAIL India. Gail india has its own network for all its plants and residence connected. it does not have to depend on the normal telephone lines...that saves a bomb... or for that matter rail tel before it was hived off into a separate subsidiary... no benefit for consumers like us..

i am aware of ccavenue and transecute. but paypal does not require any kind of deposit in the upfront. also if a dedicated payment gateway is to be established then the cost is a bit high initially as well as the commission. in turn pay pal allows you to install their logo, shopping cart etc for free. a % is charged of the amt billed thats all. o i wanted to know if any of the indian counterparts have such a service. i came to know about ICICI banks 'paisa pay'. but paisa pay is an Ebay company. .. so what is that ICICI bank has.. secondly if we take paisa pay, and transfer the amount in the indian bank, would anybody have information abt the charges and the procedure...?

but i guess the choice of clip to be optional was already there. i had taken the facility some years back... it must be for some special plans where the monthly commit is low. to prop that up the CLIP has been made mandatory..

if we have to consider the data transfer involoved in downloading or streaming, do you guys feel that it will be feasible venture at this point of time.. clips and ringtones are okay.. but movies?

lg 3000 seems to be pretty good with the network strength. even where my nokia shoes 2 bars it shows full strength and no call drops..till date. the irritating thing is the rubber...hard rubber pad.

well in that scenario the ringtones should be atleast better if not best. so pathetic .. i so experimented and did not like any of the top 20.. lost my time... and dear time is money..precious money..

i have been out of touch with r world for about a yar or so. it seems to have changed dramatically. it charges for ringtones even before you listen to it. strange isnt it.!!
