let me know what is the best config for a laptop/ notebook according to you. the use is mailnly mailing..receiving abt 150 mails everyday.. replying them, wireless... need minimum ofinterfave to feed in the data thru ecternal sources or possibility of taking out the data. LAN compatibility is a must. guys..

Its Core duo or Core 2 Duo and i think the specs Arun has given, with slight modification like 120 gb and without trulite etc, and with free upgrade to 1gb ram and dvd rw drive it will cost me 50,015+taxes inclusive of delievery. but this will be for me. for the ower end how will the via processer work, or do i stick to ACER Celeron. How abt AMD. Just now i was speaking to some guy in the netwoking domain, he suggested me to go for AMD just because it is supposed to be cheaper. Is it really in the ong run. and then with my requirement like an Outlook which will see an incoming abt 100 mails a day, browising websited abt 3-4 windows will be open in the explorer excluding outlook..etc. i dont want much of graphics only abt 40gb HDD even 20 will do and 512 RAM. I think i will settle for dell, bt what abt the lower end. I am cnfused, i still have time till the month end thought to take the decision for this one.. Guys..

it seems when you flashed the handset some setting got changed.. i wont know the technicality.. bt if it is of any help i would suggest you to visit nokia service center..

delievery charge is only for order less than 20., may be the logistics demands the charge for delievery. for the time it took for delievery ..thats really commendable..

low end handset of nokia would not give phonebook of 500. it would be around 200 to 250 for nokia..1255, 2112=250 talk abt the basic handset

nothing to impress.. even its look is borrowed from the nokias basic phone with reliance..entry level, the buttons and all.

thank you for the clarification.. i got a feedback that the handset itself has a call forwarding option which the user has to choose. again the same thing is with my handset too.. now any which way how to disable...?

that forwarding facility is okay.. bt the issue is as soon as my number is dialled by someone then do i get a call on my 6265 for a coupl of rings and then it is forwarded or my 6265 does not get a call and it is forwarded directly.. hope i am not confused.. guys...

pirated if i have to get at andheri (e) its 30rs to 50rs for 5 to six titles in one dvd.. this is just not possible to beat for m..bear. and now even the blue ray is knocking.. just wait for some more days and this will also be available in the pirated version.. then the number of movies wont be restricted to 3 or 5.. @GSV13 there is a delievery charge of Rs.50 per order if the units ordered are less than 20/- finally it is 38+50=88/-rs , i guess the taxes will be extra..

i am used to carrying my laptop with me everywhere..outstations too. and this way i have my database intact and can access my mail, which is like 100 mails every day.. that is why i am a bit sceptical, It would do even if it is a bit heavy bt it should give me a headache for free..

can anybody tell me abt the call forwarding/ diverting facility in this handset. if call forwarding is activated then the incoming call automatically gets diverted to the forwarded number? without coming/ ringing on the handset from where it has been forwarded. or It rings for a couple of times and then gets forwarded to the other number? I dont have this handset otherwise i would have tried..and this problem is with my friend who hates to (afraid) do R&D. guys...

we need to have a thorugh investigation in this occurance. anybody else who has bought this handset and feels can give us the test report..!

it seems the uniformity in hte network is lacking. typical of reliance. launch and then as and when the glitches are reported.. sort them out one by one.

the handsets are to be launched, so till they are launched the prices will be tentative..and depend on the then market conditions. moreover whenever the handsets are launched..prices are sure to come down within 6 months.. what need to be seen is are these manufacturers bold enuf to launch the pieces.. can we see a virtue in CDMA? guys...

just today i happened to see HCL leaptop for Rs.23000/- approx + taxes, via processer and again hcl leaptop centrino duo for approx 43000/- both these have 256mb ram and 40gb hdd. while i am quite satisfied with the via processer, i guess ACI gives the same deal at around 20000/- + taxes. for the premium laptop for myself i think DELL should do ad it is giving 1gb ram and 80 gb hdd, with some more enhancements at 54000/- discounted at 48000/- + taxes.. guys.. do you know anything about the reputation of Dell. Toshiba with the same config will cost abt 60000/-+ the same abt lenovo.. what say guys...

i have requirement of 2 kinds. 1. for my associates the budget shoule not exceed 25000/- with the taxes. (mandatory 512 ram) 2. for me, the budget would be around 50000/- with taxes or w/o taxes (mandatory 1+gb ram) basically a desktop replacement.

In fact, i was just visited by these nanobots... guys they really do an amazing job of cleaining he choke up. Even the BMC guys had to take two extra bottles of desi..to get over the stink, and they did it for free. commendable. the only thing is the whole army of them tries to come on board at the same time.. which is a bit..actually more than a bit hazardus for the health of the commode and if it breaks down then hazardous for your ***. I just hope guys...that when you ask them to help you.. do fix a particular timing..for them to come in on the surface...to avoid the clash..... ahem i had to clear all the slimy mess created by these guys... bt the experience of seeing them coming all the way to do the work and again disappering..was worth more than ten times the slime.. they have given an order of additional wire roap as my house is on the 6th floor.. the cable required will have to go that deeepper and this problem is aggrevated as my neighbours are 'satisfied' with their internet conection.. these guys.. i tell you they just cannot tolerate the speed at which the technology is going down the drain.. i really hate this kind. well this is for real. as soon as the additional cable/ wire arrives, these slimy creatures will arrive again. this time i wont make a mistake of offering them chair to sit and tea to drink, cant stand the stink. i have also ordered for the new cushions for my chairs. for this time i believe in being cut to cut.
