i had 5340 bt did not face any problems regarding the internet connectivity. i had used cheetah cable and installed the software bundled with the data cable. no problems at all. may br you should try to uninstall it, and reinstall it. and yes dont change the ports to connect the handset.. it might create probems. while you remove the drivers, amke a point to remove it in toto. and reinstall it. follow the instructions.. do let us know how it turns out.

hey dont look at me! i am not the 'one' I am proud to say that i have 'connection' with ADAG.. truth is that all my family/ each one has 'one' connection from ADAG/ RCL. Except that we done have any 'other' connection with ADAG/RCL.

you can save upto 120 messages..approx. including all folders, sent,inbox,templates,archive..etc.. and the free space is not dynamic as there are other applications too. the space is dynamic so that you can utilise all the space you have allotted to inbox only. modify setting to not to save sent messages, delete archive, delete template and you will have additional space for inbox messages... so you cannot say that the handset has still 4mb available, bt my message box space is full so there is something wrong. there has to be space for playing MMS clips too. you know..

one of the dealer has agreed that i can use tata sim with reliance 2865. he is ready to sell it to me..infact that was the same reason i had gone to him, to buy it. but then the handset develops problems after some time. HE did nt elaborate on the nature of problems but his tone ws like the phone becomes a dabba.. kin of. guys..any experiences.. and yes the tata sim is avilable with him for Rs.220/-

buddy go to menu-services-callwating, callforwarding. inthis last 2 options you can choose any one.. i dont know about prepaid service. never tried.

for that matter a compay can give the MRP of the handsets and the MRP could be the one printed on the box. that can be done withut any complications. and for futurebazaar, fabmall, rediff shopping, indiatimes shoping... all these sellers have their margins secured on the quantity... buy bulk sell loose.... kind of

i think with the mobility it offers its good. btw airtel datacard has tariff of abt 1000/- for unlimited.. usage. the advantage for reliance is that you can carry it anywhere because most or almost all the circles are cobvered by it while airtel may not have that adavantge

@ honest check the link posted by kesav at the begining of this thread, you will see the updated tariff. i was confused for a while bt then when i really go into the details then the difference is netconnect and rconnect. curious isnt it. if you find an answer do let me know..

kyocers..! well i dunno abt them, bt barring the slider and one other i dont think they will fit into your requirement.. i dont think they have bluetooth..or so. motorola? if you could get your hands on kyocera 7135..i think someone was selling it for 5k,go for it.

loyalty cannot be valued at any cost.. and for tata i remember one thing.. when it was offering some scheme.. that even if you are in a busy junction, standing in the middle of the business district, the handset would not show any coverage. kaput network strength. In my business i need to be available 18 hrs a day, one missed call and i loose business.. so for any change of handset/ service provider more than the brand image what will be looked out for is the capability to deliever. and as hetal said, i agree with him in toto, every service provider will subsidse as long as he is lacking in numbers as soon as he has numbrs he tries to cut the goose and get hold of all the golden eggs.

if RCL had to take tips from us then it would become a word class service and what more we wont be charging a fat price as like any consulting company would do to think in a rational and logical way ..and deduce
