www.mobile9.com is a useful place when it comes to mp3 ringtones and themes and screensavers.. but ensure that your handset has atleast 2mb of space remaining after you have loaded it with everything you wanted to.. cause after that it becomes sluggish ans damn slow to your touch

Samsung has exhibited its new Samsung SCH-i760 communicator. It was rumored as the device for the American operator Verizon Wireless, powered by the next operating system – Windows Mobile Crossbow Pocket PC. The communicator is equipped with two keyboards – a digital one under the display and a QWERTY side sliding keyboard. It supports CDMA 1x EVDO standard. The device features a 1.3-megapixel camera with video capture opportunity, a 2.8” QVGA (240x320 pixels) display (landscape and portrait modes). It carries 64 MB RAM and 28 flash ROM onboard and an expansion slot for microSD cards. There is the support of streo sound transfer via Bluetooth (A2DP profile). The SCH-i760 is powered by Windows Mobile for PPC PE. There is no number of the serie this is some more info i could find after a quick search. by the way i have one more handset that is sch i830 quad band, supports both GSM and CDMA and is supposed to hit US market by the time holidays arrive there. 'With quad-band GSM/CDMA and EV-DO for high speed data transfer, Samsung's thumbboard-equipped SCH-i830 communicator is slated for US shelves in time for the holidays. At its annual technology conference in Dallas, Texas, Samsung today unveiled several new handset models including the Windows Mobile powered SCH-i830 communicator. Offering quad-band CDMA with EV-DO for fast data transfer speeds, the slider form factor device is a successor to the SCH-i730 which made its official debut at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Equipped with a QVGA display and running Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, the SCH-i830 mainly differs from its predecessor through the inclusion of quad-band GSM and CDMA support, remaining otherwise identical to the SCH-i730. This includes its 2.8-inch QVGA display and integrated thumbboard, as well as 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of non-volatile memory. Other highlights of the device include Bluetooth support, as well as an SDIO capable SD/MMC card expansion slot and dual stereo speakers with SRS TruSurround, speakerphone capabilities and more. Due for availability in the US in time for the holidays, Samsung did not indicate which carrier would be offering the SCH-i830. The Samsung SCH-i730, however, has been exclusively available from Verizon Wireless, indicating a likelyhood that the SCH-i830 might also be offered by this carrier'

the handsets were introduced to the world way back in december 2006. may be they have put them up on the nokia website they seem to be entry level handsets so not much can be expected of off them. it will be curious to see the pricing of these handsets.

me too think on the same lines...

try this for a solution- 1. swithch off your pc/ laptop and switch on again and try to connect it should connect 2. uninstall rconnect and all its components, switch off your pc/ laptop and restart and install rconnect once again. this is sure to give you positive response. Sometimes the error shown - 'port busy' for me, was corrected by switching off the machine and on again...

is the data transfer speed comparable to data card
-
Technically speaking, yes, RConnect offers much better speed than BSNL. However, as in my case, I often face problems with connectivity, etc. Also, a friend of mine says that in Chandigarh, the speed hardly ever goes above 80kbps, while in Delhi its usually above 100kbps. So all in all, RConnect is good as long as it works properly. buddy let me know what are the settings that you have done. how did you come to know about the data transfer speed? btw i believe currently nokia 2865 is a good handset for netconnect

buddy.. arun.. why cant i upload .aac

why cant i get the video ringtone to play on the full screen? why cant i have the pic of the calling person on the full secreen?
-
well the crystal covers are available on the streets of mumbai.. but not in the shops. it is available for rs50 bargainable to atleast rs.30. but ofcourse the quality is not that good in terms of finishing of the set. it will protect the screen from getting scratched.. and its back from getting run down. thats the only thing i want...
-
the looks are attractive but the overall package should not only be considered in the terms of features packed in the slim body of the handset but the most striking feature is the backup available for its powerpacked performance. let hope the dream of a powerpacked performance comes true... in this set. can anybody let us know of the performance data for this handset
