Heya Arun, There are couple of threads which ae being repeated on the forum , some of theses are 'Nokia 2865 thread' in nokia should get merged with 'apps on 2865' or 'new nokia 2865 CDMA'. as the objectives of this thread are getting fulfilled there. ''6265 security' and '6265 phonebook menory transfer' could get merged with 'all abt nokia 6265' this way the issue will be better addressed. what say tell me if i am wrong.

Guys i think this topic should get merged with 'applications on 2865.' As it is, the application which work on 2865 are taken up and discussed. Dear Moderator can we do it.

word can be opened repeatedly. if you get accustomed to the keyboard you can type in the content , save it in the handset itself as well as again open the same and edit it. but then if you want to open any other document then it creates a problem because the .doc format is not accepted. i think the key to this is the 'Secure Real Audio/ Real video file'. as i have said earlier these files are not visible on the handset but are thru the bluetooth communication/ interface i have. got any clue if word i.e .doc files can be used on the handset. one of the fellow members has also tried to do it i.e. kunal bt with no successs. need somebody to do the r&d

have you stored too much data/ files ont he handset? and when you say conection do you mean the netconnect or wap interface. if it is wap interface then it may be the network problem . if not try deleting the files that you have saved on your handset. one more thing if any of the above issues are not there . then switch off the handset, take out the battery, put the battery in again, swithch on the phone and again try. This is the old trusted bajaj scooter way to mend the things not broken but are not doing/ working properly

You are very right. mobile office.jar opens but there is nothing that can be done if your name starts with the alphabets on 1, 4, 8 and 6 or you email has such charecters . thus you will not be able to do te account setup. which is what required to do the actual account setup but yes. i can open the application . repeatedly

.rms is the extention. if any of the applications or their extentions are opened then even if you do not want to save then too these files are created. says Secure real audio/ real video file! what is it? try the office appl. and you will find it coming true.. 3_apps.zip

the handset is not shown on the handset page . may be they have removed it as they realised it was against their startegy of creating a mystery and then finally lauching it officialy but with all the ho hum around it i guess for 11000/- it a good buy.

i have CA70 which also has a provision for charging the handset at the same time thru USB port. but if you have bluetooth then cable is not required... can u give me a thread on from where you have got it... it's posted in the pinned thread 'apps for nokia 6265'. also, pls check whether the bluetooth remote is working (available in the same thread). thanks.. i will get it

Classic is playing the role of LG that was to have the cheapest handsets coupled with rs.500/ offer and a tailormade plan. some days back say by 15 days i saw classic 201 for 500/- in nagpur. but this time ww are playing safe. they also look at the customers (appearance) before handing out the handset. ofcourse express does not have any such apprehensions.... hopefully this will also come with some sort of package.

can anybody throw some light on the files that are created after closing the application like word, excel, opera mini which can be seen thry bluetooth file transfer . these file i suspect are temp files but then they are initially not visible on 2865 and if you want to delete them then you 'have to' delete when they become visible on handset and not possible thru file transfer. :rofl_200: :Riendo: why the hell.. the type of the file is shown as real media file , got even the icon? tries to put in the word doc bt does not support the file format. can abubody be kinf enuf to do the R&D

Opera mini works abt okay on 2865 but then after closing the application some unnecessary files are seen created , need to be deleted. same thing abt excel and word files. as i said earlier - for word even the keypad has significance as to say pressing 7 closes the application. As for changing the name of this thread.. i would certainly be against it as there is a separate thread going on http://www.rimweb.in/forums/index.php?showtopic=4893 for 6235. it is named as All About Nokia 6235.

you are very right. what more even the numbers - keypad have some specific attributes which are not shown differently in any way. this way you can save, delete amongst other things. Opera mini can also be used on it. how usefulit would be.. dont know.

guys. i have got too many diverse views on this . i have a 6225 and want very badly to access internet but the not successful till now . can we have any help from guys who are using this particular handset.

indicom does not want business or what from the city which pays the highest amount of income tax and also spends online? may be that is why they need a virgin to pull it off.

kunal.. i did try to open the excel apps in 2865 although i did not try to open any file bt still the application works fine and more so it also has options to open files from server or create new one. i guess we should be able to edit the files.. what do u say btw i have posted the same in the new thread for 2865 apps.

you can get this file on 2865 and then when you go for options it has open existing file or create new one. i think it can be done. excel.zip

i think nokia 2865 should do for you at rs6200/- in mumbai. btw all the data transfers are abt standard

these files have been deleted from rapidshare
