i tried it. but the options on the right click are save the link or something and after saving when i want to open it then the choice given by the windows is either to let the web service find the appropriate program which susequentlu asks me to download something lke PHP or wat or choose from the list. well then i tried this by clicking on the ringtone and let it open in a new window then click on the last button of the player which opens the drop down menu and choose the save as source which i guess lets you save it on the computer in its original format but then it gives me a option of buying it. hey man i hardly buy anything on the net. While saving re name the file with anything and add .mp3 I hope this is the solution the for ur prob thanks buddy. it works. can we do the same and save the files in amr format to play in 2865.

Well everyone here agrees that ADA should give us poor people in the urban areas some liberty to spend money on descent looking handsets with good features and most important good battery life also. which i believe the current handset under discussion will provide. We will ofcourse buy it if it remains in our fancy for that long. low end handset will ofcourse give numbers but it is us who are willing to spend stick with the company for long. and not jump the ship if get a handset under the scheme for 500/- every other month for the free talktime. and the ARPU factor is also strong in our case. what do u say guys. (and if it has to supply low cost handset then it should subsidise the handset cost :whistle: we will buy it any day (just myself thinking aloud))

earlier it was the same with cars too. they would be launched only after a year or two after. do u think we should ask ADA to take some time off from hutch acquisition to build up the umbers and concentrate on handset quality and quantity. this will surely get more people join RIM

data cards are available at abt the same cost. some time back tata had introduced some dhamaka offer and was offering the same card at abt the same price of relaince data card available today. be it from any manufacturer. btw have heard that airtel giving the same card/ datacard at 7k but the unlimited use is given for 999/p.m. only. which is 1500/- p.m. for reliance

this is bound to happen. when i went to buy my handset wwexpress gave me an estimation of 6700/- while i got it for 6200/- but what is its advantage over the data card which is again available at the same price and ffers about the same benegits

can u tell me abt the usefulness of word.jar as well as excel.jar in 2865 from malox.net and if you know of any such applications. btw there is a strange feature in 2865 which lets you type for all you want in create message but will not send it if the message length exceeds the prescribed length. any cures on this phenomena!

whats the way out then. and one more thing is there a way out to get the handset out of its sluggish pace. it sort of just hangs in the graphics a second more than required and more so if you have loaded it with abt 1 or 2 mb of images or themes

thank god. i got rid of this handsetand now have a 2865 nokia and got 1500 off too. one more thing it seems ppl. have forgotten is that the battery of 5340 will last ony for a day and with modrate use will go kaput by the late afternoon. and well the lg dervice center changed my motherboard twice to solve the ringtone problem but when they confirmed from their superior that the software is not compatible then i lost al my hope.

i dont know abt sundays but reliance has made the charges 10paise dearer in tehe peak hours and 5 paise more in the off peak hours w.e.f 25th of his month.
