I would think that this is a BIG blot on rel info- this was never expected from a company ike reliance. This is a big question to it's integrity. I'm not really happy to be associated with such a company....

If u go to rintones section, there is an option of exclusive rintones, and when u click on that there is a msg sayin - "Event charges apply" No idea what the event charges are, because the rintones avail there are not 8888 or filmi tones...... Methinks, r-world is going chargeable soon, probably by end of this quarter...

BIG PLANS, but a campany like reliance can definately set a goal of becoming one of the world’s 10 largest telecommunications service providers by 2007 and achieve it too! nice to be associated with such a service provider. hope that you would get coverage even if you travel thru train from one city to the other. they've definately made mobile a necessity now... I still remember their ad - roti, kapda, makaan aur MOBILE........!

i would definately like to wait and see whether they r introducing any such schemes in mumbai too.... hopefully!

hi harsh, i read about ur problems. I'm having rim since they launched in mumbai! methinks that rim services (custcare, webworld etc.) was better at that time and the mobile services (calls, coverage etc) have improved since then. but reliance has launched their services on such a huge scale! So they've actually been successfull in controlling the number of problems. But then individual experiences may differ!

i guess they r doin this because prepaid fwp is not generating enough customers. their rim is doing good, so no new offers on the anvil..... bad!
