Yes now a days China mobiles comes with valid IMEI number, dont know how but they have valid IMEI numbers These cheap (NOT in RATE, BUT in QUALITY) CHINESE handsets are nowadays using non-allotted new IMEI numbers... So they are looking like VALID IMEI phones... These phones are not at all controlled by International bodies, like FCC, etc for even SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) rating verification... Further in CHINA, these phone manufacturing is like COTTAGE industry ... Or in simpler terms, these CHINESE people, just get cheap parts and assemble them and sell.... Then how do you think that, they got allotted IMEI numbers, The last check digit of the IMEI number provided by them may be correct for the previous digits.. But that doesnt means that those numbers are correct or (IMPORTANTLY) unique... (Means they may have one UNIQUE/VALID IMEI number for a batch or few hundred phones... For example, the phone purchased by you from TRIVANDRUM and by me in MADURAI may have same IMEI number... But how can we know that???? It is always better to avoid these crappy phones, even if they show valid IMEI numbers... BUT if you are too budget consious, go for it... Because, BAN on CHINESE phones (EVEN THOSE without IMEI) will not come. The deadline of Dec09 is a bloody joke... Our BAABUs are not concerned about security... The ban will be only possible, if only again terrorists attacked and killed few central BABU's.... (Please NOTE:-- NOT YOU or ME....) # In case of Mobile Handset with no IMEI number or invalid IMEI number, you will be required to either buy a new Mobile handset or go to any of the GII (Genuine IMEI Implant) outlets. # A GII Outlet can implant a valid IMEI number on the Mobile handset through software. # To find your nearest GII Service outlet Click here. or You can also send a SMS as GII < Space> < Postal Pin code of the area> to 52277 (Toll Free) For example: if the postal pin code of your area is "123456", SMS "GII 123456" to 52277. You will receive the address and contact details of the nearest GII Outlets through SMS. The charges for IMEI implantation are Rs.199 (Inclusive of Taxes). Some dudes at the FCC has approved the Samsung SCH-i760 CDMA smartphone. As a result, the device will be available very soon. As a reminder, the SCH-i760 runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 and boasts a 1.3MP camera with video recording capability, an integrated MP3 player, landscape and portrait display options, WiFi connectivity, and a simple horizontal sliding function that reveals a full QWERTY keyboard. Sadly, there is no info on pricing yet.

Style and value-conscious consumers now have another way to make a great impression - with the Nokia 2505 unveiled today. One of Nokia's sleekest fold-style phones for the CDMA market, the Nokia 2505 offers a unique smooth-back design that makes the phone as ergonomic to hold as it is to carry in pocket or purse. The Nokia 2505 is expected to be available in selected markets in Asia/Pacific, Middle East, Africa, China and Latin America during the 2nd quarter of 2007. In addition to the eye-pleasing exterior, the bright 65,536 color display helps to accentuate the end-user experience. Consumers can personalize their Nokia 2505 by using the pre-loaded ringtones and wallpapers or by downloading new ones. The Nokia 2505 meets practical needs as well with easy-to-use functions including text messaging, speaker phone, calendar, a personalized voice reminder and an alarm clock. "The Nokia 2505 offers a slim, elegant and innovative design that appeals to the fashion sense across all consumer segments" said Larry Paulson, vice president and general manager of Nokia's CDMA business. "Nokia also recognizes that many functions, including an FM radio and quick-press flashlight are of particular importance to entry market consumers, and were included as standard features on the Nokia 2505." Other features included with the Nokia 2505 to provide additional convenience to consumers include pre-loaded games, a 300-contact phonebook, up to 3 hours of talk time and 156 hours of stand-by time. http://www.nokia-asia.com/nokia/0,8764,101816,00.html

bhidu, sasta deneka iska matlab ye nahi ke lutneka... aur aapun gang kya kal parso reliance join nahi kiya, ke kuchh bhi bakte jao. if u r new to reliance, then wait till u get ur share of experience. if u r an old user, then say thaks to ur good luck, n pray that remains so till u get ur first taste of reliance treatment. Hey Dude... I booked Reliance on the very 1st day wen it was launched.... wen all the other people were busy criticising Reliance again for the same reason " Low tariffs and XYzee" .... I had worked before for its Broadband network six years back... wen reliance was digging broadband network all over india and mumbai in name of powersurfer ( BSES )..... I Knew the day Reliance will launch its Network it gonna F***K all the over priced GSM Service Providers... and wohi hua.... it takes time for indian people to accept something gud from indian.... and as Reliance is entering Manufacturing of handset in India ( Again the 1st one to do so ) thanx for the relief in excise duties for domestic handset manufacturer ( Only Reliance is planning to enter ) and ofcourse Handsets will be almost 50% cheap..... and not to forget its network upgrading plans.... Reliance is Gonna Rule for sure.... Only Airtel and Reliance will be competing with each other...... Aur rahi baat wrong billing ki etc... woh toh hona hi hain.... Reliance ho ya any XYZ.. its our duty to be alert and respond in time instead of wasting time yelling at service providers... and as far as my experience i had done this several times for me & for my friends always... got an assurance and problem solvd from 'Reliance assurance cell'... and ya Customer care guys ( Call centre ) You know very well wat kindda guys and gals sits over there ( in almost all Domestic One ) no product knowledge etc... etc... So dear I have a gud taste of Reliance... and know my friends who keep having taste from other service providers Keep Rocking... MoTo RoKr Z6m is Coming.... !!!!! http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/motorokrz6m/ Thanks & Regards MaHeN4eVeR
