Ya offcourse it is very funny. Bcoz I am not a technical guy, and if I would be then I could findout the solution myself. Anyway what I mean is that GPRS is not working in the RCom's phone number I am using. and I think that u know that RCom is providing the telephone service through CDMA technology, as u had alredy worked with them or perhaps is also working with them these days. And still if u fail to understand what I have written here, then plz let me know. Either I will learn English again or will post the same in Hindi. The Service Chief of Orissa is on tour to Kolkata presently. I will meet him in the last week of September and then I will decide what to do? I mean I want to know what other option he has? But what will happen even I replace it with a new one if it is a firmware problem? All the handsets will have the same problem till the problem is fixed. Even I mailed there customer care on Sunday, but still there is no reply. I will suggest u to wait till the launch of D88 gold, which is with FM & 512MB memory.

Now the SMS problem is solved. But what about GPRS? Anybody plz help............

But before buying plz check that GPRS is working perfectly & also the vibration. Bcoz still GPRS & vibration never works at sametime. I am facing the same problem presently. Exactly. Recently in Orissa, naxalities attacked in the district Nayagarh's Police Station, Jail & Police Training Centre. More than 100 naxalities were included in that attack. Now just guess what was the consequence at that time? But when police used chopper to find & attack them in forest, Human Right Commisonner asked not to attack them with a chopper, bcoz it is human right's violation. What a great Indian he is?

That means I have to revert to the firmware that is present at the time I bought the phone? If yes, then what about vibration? And if I enable the signal led then do u think that vibration will work fine on that firmware too?

I think it is the GSM+GSM version of D88n with some extra feaures like Camera, FM, Tracker, etc. Even the look is somewhat similar except the keypad.

Anuj, yaar plz try to post your comments or views directly on the thread instead of attaching a file. So that everyone can watch it nicely. And I must say that u have made some good remarks on that model. SPICE D88n also lacks some feature u mentioned here like camera quality,etc. Anyway don't mind my wards.

Hello Again. This time I am here for unlocking LG 3100. Plz note that this includes heavy risk, and the handset may be useless or dead with a single mistake, and also it may be out of warranty. So plz be cautious, and remember that you are using the same at ur own risk. Let me told all of you that I had collected all the informations and files from net, and I am not the owner of these things. And also I am not tried these options.But I am sure that it will work fine to unlock the phone from Reliance. I have only connected the phone to PC through USB cable, and LGDownload successfully reads from the phone all the details. Here the topic starts. First you need to flash the handset either with LG Tools or LG Download. I am not giving the files, hav a google search. I am giving you the link for .bin (binary) and .scr (script) files, download them and flash the handset. For .prl, you can use any reliance prl file. If you are facing problems or errors while flashing (in normal mode), try Emergency mode. Then unlock the phone using yo*exe. Simply run the file and click on unlock. Plz remeber that after unzip, you will get two folder, one is flashing files (flashing files) and the other one is to unlock the phone, which include yo.exe. (unlocker) Donot ask me to mail the files to ur email id as it contains .exe files. Plz note that, the navigation keys may change after unlocking. Left button may work as "FM", which was "Rworld", and Bottom button may work as "Ringer setting", which was "FM".

Kamalji, I think the rebooting problem lies in the battery. I mean D88n's battery is somewaht similar to the battery of our CLASSIC models, i.e. just flat & thin. To add more the battery doesn't fit perfectly in CLASSIC phones and that is why there is a loose connection & the phone reboots while a little bit jerking. Even the phone will reboot while you are driving. I have faced similar situation with my CLASSIC phone earlier.

@bhupal Spice D88 Gold has FM Radio & recording, which is unavailable on the previous models. @Akshat I am using Spice D88n for the last 2 months, but since I never faced a reboot problem. And battery is good, although not best.

Vinay it is there (on Spice's website) since July/August. I am not sure, but first time I saw it in August. And the site itself says Coming Soon. But When? Only.............
