Wallpaper Format For Lg Phones (3000&3600 Not Supported)
Asit replied to Asit's topic in Technical / OS related
I have attached the screenshot, which shows the new file option. Plz click on new file & then browse for your image file. Bitpim will then download the file into your phone. Plz restart your phone after downloading, and then check. -
I have created a community in ORKUT named as RIMWEB, and all the rimwebians are invited to join but no discussion about RCom or any other service provider, nor for any mobile handsets and their makers. Here is the link : http://www.orkut.co.in/Community.aspx?cmm=49708128

Dear RD, Plz read the first line (but no discussion about RCom or any other service provider, nor for any mobile handsets and their makers). Rimweb in ORKUT is not meant for Mobile discussions or their makers/service providers discussion.

This is totally wrong, There are no different offices for Prepaid and Postpaid Consumers, Just checked at Rcom.co.in. Amit why should I told lie? It is true. The prepaid office is not from RCom, but by the Local distributor. So it will not be available in their website. Although I have seen that they are accessing RCom portal from their end. The guy there told me that earlier they had access To RCom portal like the Web World pepoles do, but after a period their use is restricted only to the consumers they are dealing with.

Sorry Kamalji, actually I have searched for RIMWeb in ORKUT, and didn't find a single one. And the community you are talking is named as Reliance Mobile (GSM & CDMA), and I failed to find this one too. That's why I have created the RIMWeb community. Anyway, plz close this thread. Then what to do in that community? ^^^ Dear Member, their are lot of other things in the life to be discussed on or to be shared with one another or between friends. As we discuss all about Reliance, Other Operators, Handsets, Handset Manufacturers and Other Services regarding Mobiles right here on our beloved Rimweb, So it is understood that their is no need to discuss the same their on Orkut. Their is much more in LIFE. Otherwise their is no LIFE at all. Regards. Thank You Kamalji, rightly said.

Wallpaper Format For Lg Phones (3000&3600 Not Supported)
Asit replied to Asit's topic in Technical / OS related
Rahul, LG 3100 and 3600 have different file systems, so you have to find out how to download wallpaper into your phone. Or you can attach the screenshot of BITPIM (after connecting the phone) displaying the filesystem, then we may help you. -
^^^ But dear member, I think that Reliance Mobile Store, doesn't have the full access to Reliance Network and Systems. They only have partial access. By partial access I mean, that they still don't have access to decision making Portals in the systems. But still I'm not 100% sure about this. Regards. Kamalji you are right. Here we have two outlets, one is Web Wolrd Express dealing only with Postpaid consumers, and another is the office for Prepaid consumers, where they cannot use the portal for information regarding any customer. They can only access the portal for the consumers they have added. Even one consumer resides abroad and if seeks help of that Prepaid office, they cannot help him.

Yes, another one. Lets give it a try. If anyone else is supporting us, plz post your comments.

Dhiraj I am not telling to transfer the ownership of RIMWeb to RCom. What I mean is that RCom may provide access to our admins/mods to their network, as a result people can get help quickly and clearly compared to their CCEs. And what type of topics we are discussing which are against the norms of Reliance? We are not clonning their RUIMs. If I am right nothing is illegal here. Ya offcourse, Kamal may be right that RCom willnot give access to their ISO Certified systems, as, if I am right, it will be against ISO certification.

Right, they aren't even going to respond to such a request. Arunji, lets give it a try first. We may face failure, but try karne mein kya problem hai..... Haan not presently, but still we got a chance, and offcourse the motto of our forum is : "to provide a platform for all Reliance Mobile users to discuss/share their experiences, grievances, etc., and to share their knowledge with other users of Reliance Mobile in an efficient and interactive manner." (quoted from the main page). And we are doing it successfully for the last 5 years. We have also more than 25000 members with more than 10000 posts. We have allmost discussed everything related to RCom here. Even I am sure both the Amabnis perhaps have no knowledge about our forum. So lets try first.

Rightly said Mr. Shah. Transparency will be affected, which will bring RCom's cheating to public.

So in simple language, the plan is to remove us from the club. Just joking karkiji (lol) But if it is possible, then there should be a plan for us too, means a plan for those who resides outside Mumbai, and interested in Bike riding and also to know about the club, for those who can't be a part of the club, but at the sametime supporting the club too. So Karkiji, plz do a fovour to me,i.e. if possible plz place my opinion infront of the admins. Anyway, if anyone else is there from Bomaby Bikers, plz share your opinion.

Thanks Kamalji, I will definitely search for them.

Kamalji I have no problem at all for going to Service Centre, but the problem is with the Service Centre. Because, the service centre guy told me that they don't receive defective cards which are without warranty, the reason is that the cards cannot be repaired in India. When I asked him about the cards within warranty, he said that the cards within warranty are either repaired at Mumbai (like replacing the chips), otherwise to China. And a full replacement is given to the customer. But my problem is that the card I got is out of warranty.

Reliance Mobile Internet Data Plan Introduced Wef 7th Dec 2008
Asit replied to @mitJ@in's topic in Data services
In which Plan?? In NJ249 plan, it is .20 paise in intra-circle, and i.e. only on-net. Besides that I think Reliance is still the only provider who is giving free on-net outgoing calls even within INTERCIRCLE too. -
What happens to all the members? There is no one with a graphics card? Plz help yaar, my card is out of warranty....plzzzzzzz

Reliance Mobile Internet Data Plan Introduced Wef 7th Dec 2008
Asit replied to @mitJ@in's topic in Data services
U r 100% right Mr. Shah. Remeber it is Reliance, who still giving benefits to customers like free incoming in roaming (recently launched), and also I think he is giving the lowest outgoing intra-circle call @ .20paise. So plz, I request all the rimwebians to think about other ways to slap Reliance. -
Reliance Mobile Internet Data Plan Introduced Wef 7th Dec 2008
Asit replied to @mitJ@in's topic in Data services
Why cannot we inform Media, like Times of India, Hindustan Times or Indian Express about this horrible decision of Anil Ambani. If any one got the email id of the editors, plz inform them otherwise plz give the mail id I will inform them. And there will be also another advantage, i.e. everyone will know including all the non-rimwebians or those who doesn't visit rimweb continuously. -
Reliance Mobile Internet Data Plan Introduced Wef 7th Dec 2008
Asit replied to @mitJ@in's topic in Data services
What all of u saying is right, but plz remember that not everyone is using RWORLD in their phone. There are a limited number of users who are using WAP BROWSER in their RELIANCE handsets. As all of you know the price range is high for these handsets, most of the users choose low end phones where no WAP BROWSER is available. They only use RWORLD to download RINGTONES/WALLPAPERS or these kind of stuffs from RWORLD. And to more there is also a limited number of phone user who knows about data chrages. Even they cannot undesrstand what is 10KB. What they knows is that RELIANCE is charging the total amount for downloading ringtones or wallpapers. So I think there will be a little effect on users, or simply they would not use RWOLRD any more. But user migration from RELIANCE to other may not be affected due to this reason. Don't think that I am a supporter of RELIANCE. But this is true. Except the users from METROS, no one is using CDMA high end handsets with BROWSER. And also if we want to teach them a lesson then we have to spread this news among all the RELIANCE users in our area. Anyway, I think this is ANIL's frustration coming out from MTN deal.
