guys a quick ? about DTH set top boxes !!! 1) can we record programming we c on the settop box 2) what will be the quality of the video recorded 3) can we also transfer the same recorded video to PC << very imp for me edit :- 4) if the company does not provide HDD bases settopbox can we purchase a better settopbox from market and then install the same!! or we haev to purchase the settop box from the service provider may be reliance NETWAY guys can help me @ this ???

DTH can have broadband but its made for transmitting DIGITAL TV signals!! broadband on DTH isint feasiable according to me! though WIMAX would be a good option for broadband connectivity

we have to spend 800 for 128 and 1322 for 256k (im paying that) coz nethier AIRTEL nor TATA is avaliable in our areas and we have to su**up to these local sify's and cablewala's

Thats internet through FWP, we are talking about internet through DSL here ! BTW, TATA Indicom reduced their price for 128 kbps and 256 kbps unlimited data transfer ADSL connections to Rs.800 and Rs.1200 respectively (from Rs.900 and Rs.1600), last week. It seems the effect of competition especially from BSNL has started to show among other ISPs now thats kool !! i think its just reliance that left with expensive schemes right now!!! 2000 RS for a 300k connection TATA's rates are similar to sify's

Let me inform you that Speed post charges Rs 50 and DHL Bluedart charger Rs 185 for sending mobilephone from Mumbai-Delhi. Its a big difference.Hence I asked does anyone have any experience with dealing with Speed Post. buddy i just assumed the Figure !! what i ment is that i would spend a little more and sent it through BLUEDART or DHL coz the percel in Question is a mobile phone and i would never trust SPEED POST for such a thing!! papers or some small item is OK!! well its my point of view! do tell us that u sent it through SPEED POST or no!! and if yes DID it reach safely and in time anyways yup to the topic!! DOSE ANYONE have a (good ) experience with SPEED POST guys

i wouldnt count on SPEED POST for a mobile phone spend 50 RS more and send it through BLUE DART or DHL
