i dont think any one can actully match up with 256 k! but a recomendation i am also using dialpad to call singapore almost everyday since past 1 1/2 year, prevoiusly i had dial up with speeds upto 5-6 k and now i have limited 256 k i say the voice clarity of a call with 256 k is 1000000 times better than a connection lesser than it! so dont leave the connection if you are looking for a voice clarity in your calls. try and take some other ISP which provides u with the same bandwidth *for my present connection i have 265 k night unlimited + 150 mb day time downloads which is more than enough for voice calls through dialpad considering a call for 30 min would take only 4 - 5 mb downloads

hmmm and whos better planner than ambani's i mean look @ it 25 years and india's biggest comapany and to top that the biggest CDMA operations in the biggest democracy of the world now isint that BIGGG

guys i dont understand from sooooo many days we have been posting about new schemes that reliance has lauched and soo many other things about reliance info! but there all are from other news channels like ecotimes etc etc etc! y dosent reliance post it on their website itself from past many days i have been regularly visiting http://www.relianceinfo.com/webapp/Infocom...a/MediaHome.jsp but it has still stuck on the oct 13'th news about ISD is reliance ashamed of lauching these schemes! if yes they should'nt coz they are one of the best and biggest comapnies in indian telecom senirio

i have heard that with IPv6 that we can address every inch² of earth's surface! seems indian broadband will c a new change! lets c if IPv6 actully gets implemented im very exicted about this new technology < POSTS MERGED >

but are beloved indian ISP's willl still find a way to not to give us a public IP as with sify who found out a so called logical way "responsible usage policy" to keep download caps the actul reason behing which would be more investments with IPv6

to summrize tow major problems standing in the way are a) huge investments :- which govt should try and give subsidies on B ) technical people :- which we already have

Atleast in my expreince when they have launched SMS card the problem of money deduction was there as networks were not fully upgraded, even so many of us facing same prob in r-connect freedom @ nigtht. do u know why all the possible KHANCHA happened just because of the network upgradations, now they learnt the lesson, first recheck everything twice thn anounce. dude thats wi-fi not wimax and ashoksoft as far as i remember its in the whole city! manglore india's first whole wi-fi city check this out

mukesh bhai dint say it will actuly take over china in all terms but what he ment was in some areas! we know we are much much behind china in few areas such as R&D & manifacturing but and it would take much more time than 2 yrs to fill up that gap moral :- beating in some areas in 2 yrs is possible!
