Threaded SMS - or No Threaded SMS ? Well ... I made a home cooked ROM, nice and clean - fast without much of the graphics - on WM6.1, but the threaded SMS was a pain since 1. Was difficult to delete a single SMS 2. Does not show TIME of the sms .. just the date is shown 3. When u SMS 2000 people - the same SMS, is shown in the inbox as 2000 different messages - Painful !!! but hey for people who don't forward too much it might be a boon ... so here's something to toggle back and forth the threaded SMS without even a reboot all u need to do is to close text messages and reopen it cheers karki cabs.zip

Hi pals, Had visited a friend of mine today ... and tested a few handsets that reliance is rebranding and planning to launch in the coming weeks... The handsets are dual SIM supporting GSM and CDMA simultaneously ... and priced from 8500 / - to 14000/- Tested all the handsets in offer ... and found them real cool - considering you are getting the one year warranty too ... the handsets that have reached the distributors today are not exactly the ones that is launched - these handsets are still unbranded - but happened to see the address from where the handsets are shipped and that sure is reliance address The one for 8500 has a 2 MP cam - but the battery life s**ks ... but it seems the same handset can be got from china for about 4k on the other hand the 14k one has a 3" screen, 1800 mah battery, supports group messaging (and u can choose GSM or CDMA for messaging as defualt - extremely useful for DAPO customer ...Calls can be interswitched between GSM or CDMA - as both are connected simultaneously.. GPRS using Airtel Mobile Office worked perfect .. and the wap browsing experience is real nice (read big screen) - the handset supports the Ez input mode - akin to T9 but more common in SE Asian countries. The cam is a 3.2Mp and the loudspeaker is LOUD !!! could hear the music in the traffic on the loudspeaker.. Bluetooth 2.0 supporting A2DP profiling as well as Vcard / Message forwarding ... but found that transferring files more than 8 MB quite a task ... was too slow at handling larger files. Supports Java, PC Sync and comes with a USB charger as well ... a first for a start... you also get a car kit for 150/- more - which sure is cheaper than most of the car kits available... batteries extra are for 200 /- and the normal charger has a slot in which u can charge the spare battery. The handset I tested still had some menu's in Korean / Chineese ... but the handsets reaching tommorrow will not have them ... guess I'll be getting one of them for testing again - as I'll be sending the feedback to the company and well to the extent I see it ... good start btw ... let me see when I can post a few pix online might need to take permission before doing it ... hehe cheers karki

How To Remove Usb Memory Hack
ashoksoft replied to vishalmcp's topic in General Technical Discussion
It normally is caused by a defective zero sector / FAT info. An ideal solution would be to use a low level formatter for the USB drive, (you can try HP Key format), and then format with the normal windows format tool.. cheers karki -

@yunus / anupe : Step 1 : Take out the 512MB / 1GB card for your phones .. you cannot use SDHC's for this process Format the card to FAT 32 Download the stock ROM for your phone Extract the exe to a folder (Install Winrar on your comp ... right click on the exe file for RUU and extract to folder) In the folder there will be a ruu_signed.nbh file ... rename that to "VOGUIMG.nbh" (please note that caps and small letters) Copy the file to your mem card, reboot the phone to boot loader mode (Camera + power button) Let the process complete hey ... there .. u have the phone - the way it was cheers karki

Yeah .. well clicked pic meher baba ... kind of liked the concept .. looks like one of my "Sun Pix" shots .. maybe in the next meet - i'll show u my collection of similar shots ... clicked with either the sun or the moon as the base line and a theme built around it ! Learning the Right ISO setting for different lighting conditions, the WB adjustments .. etc can go a long way in getting a perfect shot ! Playing around with a DSLR helps a lot too cheers karki

Htc Mogul Ppc 6800 & Htc Mogul Touch Ppc 6900! Cons, Prons, Issues, Reviews, Etc.!
ashoksoft replied to dkaile's topic in HTC
@csmart : I've tested a 32GB SDHC (test release) on my Mogul ... no complaints. So don't see any reason for 8GB to slow down things.. anyway sadik can answer that question clearly -
