  1. Need Some Suggestions :)

Yo pals, after almost 3.5 years with reliance, and loads of handsets later ... I guess the time has come to rethink Surging bills, increase in cost for most of the services and the walled garden has already started to get on my nerves. I was going thro the priceplans offered by other networks, and found some which are quite appealing. Plan to move to one of them. But for the same I would have to get myself a GSM handset (and it is ages since I used one ... except the test handsets at office) Can anyone help me choose a nice handset which is not too overpriced, supports WiFi, Bluetooth, ability to support expansion (Memory and Application installation), PPC's / Smartphones would be preference (windows / Palm / Linux), threadablity to support applications that take heavier Processing cycles - say something like Skype if anyone has a handset for sale ... do lemme know !!! Cheers ashok
  2. Hi every1, This is my first post.... but I have been going through this site as a guest for a long long time. I had been using bitpim long before I saw a posting here, along with bitpim I had written a wall paper encoder. But the ringtones part was someting I got to know from NGC. Now I was trying out a bit more advanced stuff.... that is When I connect to R-World -> Surf two files (naming varies) namely 007.jad and 007.jar were created in ams folder. for eg : If I was visiting say wapcards.com, can any1 tell me where is the page being displayed stored (like the Temp Internet Files in windows)? Accepted that the whole memory defined is preset as accessible by the class file (jbrowser.class) which is inside the jar file. (in com\jataayu\01) Please drop your comments. Plan to make an all round software for the LGRD2030, planning to code in Java (as I am not that great in VC++)

Guess E61 should suffice ... but I do not see a Symbian version around I know that our company launched a version of Skype bundled with Nokia N73 and SE W850i (with the title as x-series). but I do not see the app available anywhere . But again the WiFi seems a suspect with the E61. Check this comparision I did on Nokia's site http://nokia.co.in/nokia/0,,85209,00.html?...status=complete cheers ashok

Step 1 : Install a backup tool, and use a memory card to backup everything thats on your mobile. Step 2 : Keep the LIGHT Button pressed and then press the reset button. Release the light button a few seconds later, and on confirmation if u wish to erase all data (EEPROM settings) press the UP button. Step 3 : Restore ur Address book, messages, todo. Step 4 : Reset the phone using the reset button wait for the phone to boot Reset the phone again Step 5 : Restore applications that u generally use. In my case the steps mentioned helped, u loose nothing in trying it out cheers ashok
