Please search a little on the forum. this topic has been discussd for ages now... and the answer is no as of now (i've made an encoder) but nothing that sends! btw try the Nokia 6235 it supports AT command SMS send!! Cheers ashok

The 6275i rocks ... but the cam has some issues in floruscent light. Sound quality is blasting ... even the radio rocks!! in fact I'm loving the attention it grabs! one of the best features is the auto wallpaper change every few mins!! a job well done by nokia @ last PS : even tho the cam is rated as a 2 MP i've never got a decent pic out of it yet ..

I've the Reliance which offers me unltd calls to RIM numbers in Mum-Mah-Goa!!! since I am having that pack active !! so now I've gifted me pal a RIM handset rather than the airtel wala PP. What I got was a RUIM card with a number on it !! No Blanks... unless u have an old handset and u transfer the number on the RUIM to that handset and make ur RUIM blank!!

not legally since most of tata's high end phones (Moto V3c and Konquer) are not RUIM enabled! unfortunately!

U will have to reflash the handset to enable the RUIM slot ... The flash files can be found on a little more googling .. Once flashed with RH17 / 19(if u want slot 1 , 2 support). u can use any RUIM's in it!!! including tata !! or Reliance! cheers ashok

I used the phone (cannot reveal the exact details how I get it ...) as of now (the test release..) the camera is buggy (get red dots in bright light)... Battery life is pathetic ... drains out before u know it SOUND QUALITY ROCKS. EVEN ON FM. The Mp3 Ringtune output is also not like most nokias. The phone has a good look and feel. ... the wall paper can be set to automatically change every 30 secs... and the preloaded wall papers ROCK! will try to upload a few pics in the next couple a days .... Visitors to china (kshah are u reading this ... u can get some nice stuff near Emarket at Fujian ) lolz ... cheers matez .. Ashok

Mate, the disk compression that u have just discussed here is only for data compression, but in case of a transmission over the standard TCP / IP lists it is not possible to transmit in the said manner. As in the compression happens on your comp. The only reason why IPv6 is being discussed as the next big thing is because of compressed data transmission. Cheers Ashok

You can configure it manually, once u start a beam, from your laptop search for device, once found, assign a com port. Now create a DUN with the Modem on the said com port. Connect normally... but the speed is comparable to 1/2 the speed u get on a GPRS connection lolz Cheers Ashok
