I still presume when it launches... it could just be that the pulse rate is same anywhere in india ... but the codes will still remain. for eg. call to Mumbai will be prefixed with the 022, but the charges will be local... anyways lets wait and watch Cheers Ashok

Saurav ... Telson TWC works on RUIM, another CDMA (expt) handset (not from india) works on RUIM... and FOR UR INFO, TELSON happily accepts an RUIM from tata and works amazingly perfectly... PS : U know why ? it is the RSN of the RUIM that is registered on the network, and not of the handset... Cheers Ashok

dude ... try out the pinnacle studio... it is kewl. Sire the protocols.... ever seen the resources on your windows machine being out to the world, coz MS Windows "Network Neighbourhood" / " My network places" etc understand a lot about comps on the same protos ? And I do not say that things are WAY different being on Linux.. except that u do not generally see the crop ups the way windows allows sharing (and dude a password is a default there .... ) Cheers Ashok

Dude ... all u did was to do a port scan on a series of IP addresses, and tried to check shared resources. (rather use them) and well forget reliance, use any damn connection u can always do this ... if it is a shared connection (or even otherwise)... If someone really needs to keep his butt safe .. try to plug the holes... in fact all the funky things u just gave the screen shots of ... have been tried around for ages .... and well they are the "PLUS POINTS" of using windows.... All's well that ends well... and this is "NOT HACKING" as termed by someone above. ... The handset which supported CMGS was the one launched during the HUM-TUM offer, nice handset, and U can fit a slot + flash it to support RUIM, so that is not really an impossiblity ... after getting my sal next month, I might consider using one such handset, with a 180 wala card for On/Off net SMS local + a 55 On net sms pack.... got about 3 rim numbers now, and one of the numbers can be shifted over to this phone Cheers Ashok
